We had a lovely time in Velankanni, would recommend people visiting to plan their meals at this restaurant. Good food and excellent service.
Good place to have all three meals at Velankanni.
This is the new place they have moved into from a smaller place.
Neat and clean and good food and pricing is good.
A good choice for all types of Chinese, Indian, North Indian, South Indian available here.

The biryani was so good and tasty it was very flavourful and crowed most of the time . This is one of the oldest restaurant over here
Visited this hotel during Diwali and even then I was not disappointed with their service or quality of food.
I ordered food from here every single day and every dish I tried - naan, paneer butter masala, chicken masala, mushroom curry, chicken biryani, parota, channa masala, veg meals, tandoori chicken, etc - was amazing! Contrary to what I've noticed, the food here is not very spicy and that's the best thing about this place.
The quantity is good, the prices are very reasonable, and the hotel is clean and tidy. The staff here are very helpful and help you decide on what food to buy.
This hotel is also very close to the Velankanni Church - about 2mins from the Church - so it's very easy to get a quick and satisfying meal after all the exploring.
I rated three stars for atmosphere because all restaurants in Vailankanni is about food not lounging and they're mostly crowded but who cares because the food in hotel Mariya is good and affordable. I had a really nice chicken thali for 160 that included two vegetable curries, dal, and buttermilk too.. Unlike some other places where I was given just chicken curry and rice. The food was tasty, not oily and not too hot. Highly recommended.
Good taste of food at best price. Well cleaned and maintained. Medium crowded at morning and night but lunch its little more crowded. It's definitely because of the best food in that area. It's surrounded by lots of restaurant but this restaurant have good taste of food and good behaviour of staffs.
The food is realy amazing, the only thing I didn't like was the chicken sezwan noodles (madras dried whole red chilly with green whole chilly and spicy red chilly powder followed by kashmir red chilly powder). That is too much heat one can handle. Overall I will be eating there almost everyday on my next visit
Amazing food, good service, Rajini Kumar gave us good service and he understands English too, so he can be a great help for u when it comes to order food.
I recommend this place, very close to the basilica shrine, velankanni.
All time favourite place in Velankanni when it comes to pet Puja...be it veg be it non veg all is the best in entire Velankanni...I bet on it..ull not get the taste and service anywere els in in entire Velankanni
The food ..just wow , especially the South Indian breakfast (All) are very tasty.. When visited just don't forget to taste the sambar (curry) which tastes to its peak..
Very yummy food my child liked the chicken pulao and garlic nun.
Very nice staff also and very helpful.
Thanks to them manage to get boiled water to take for our long train journey.

Decent place if you wish to try sea food in Velankanni. Must try fish fry meals, prawn curry and panner soda.
