It is a good place to take a break in Vellore on the way to Bangalore from Chennai, and it is situated along the Highway Service Road. Generally, it is a very busy place so you should plan on waiting for 5-10 minutes after you arrive. It is easy to park because there are a lot of spaces available. I really like the atmosphere here, the music is soothing, and the ambiance is great. One of my favorite dishes is the one served on banana leaves. The food was good, the service was okay, not too much of a wait time. we really liked the rice and the curries were exceptionally great. I would recommend taking a break from a long drive.

A great place for dinings with friends and family. Best option for non veg lovers . Ambience is good and prompt service from staff. It’s located at bypass of Highway from Chennai to Bangalore or visiting Vellore / Golden temple . Parking is decent and have waiting area as it gets rush over weekends. Veg and Chicken biriyani (taste was decent ) , Chicken Lollipop was dry (no sauce ) and panner tikka was decent. Chicken 65 (boneless) , chicken bharta , bun Parotha and lacha paratha was good.

It was a very good experience having dinner with the classic bun Paratha and chicken curry. The biryani is highly praised, but I discovered that this is best ordered at lunch. The lower portion of the restaurant serves your meal on banana leaves, and the first floor fine dining on crockery, but the quality of the food remains the same. Good place to savour Arcot and Chettinad cuisine. Very polite, prompt and good service.

Food is good, service is slow and the cost of the food doesn’t justify the quantity provided, one time dine in is good not going to visit again for sure!!

Well known in Vellore for its mouth watering and delicious food, By far the best restaurant in Vellore for mutton dishes in terms of taste. Tried the hot and sour chicken soup, tandoori prawns, Madurai Kari kuzhambu (special Madurai style mutton gravy) and bun parotta. Evey dish was spot on in terms of flavour. The combo of piping hot bun parotta and Madurai mutton gravy ended the meal on a high note 😋😌. Wanted to try dessert, unfortunately they were out 😕. Will surely be back to try more next time.

The food here was very tasty. But the climate inside the restaurant was very hot. I ordered parota which costs 55 rupees it was very tasty and veg fried rice was awesome with some decent ghee. curd rice was also gud with fruits. Orange juice was very tasty and thick quantity. Mutton chukka quantity was very very very less. Please increase the quantity of mutton chukka according to the price. Price was 350. Every item was tasty.

If you don't mind the standard Indian ambiente the food here is actually very good. Great praw chilli curry, chicken curry and bun parota were all excellent choices and that for a very reasonable price.. Recommended.

Very good restaurant for both, veg and non veg options. Absolutely wonderful service and very fresh food. We loved the idli, appam, poori, bun parotta and dosa, although the dosa could have been a little more crispy. Best part is that they open early morning and is very well located! Absolutely recommend this place for family or friends gathering or just a regular breakfast!

Authentic meal options including South Indian delicacies as is clear from the name. Good place for taking a break for lunch in Vellore enroute to Bangalore from Chennai. It's generally crowded so need to account for 5-10 min of waiting time.

Long time plan to visit here. Parking getting congested as it goes, May be you have to wait for the table or if you are lucky, straightaway you can dine in . I had very good chicken briyani after long time , raita and brinjal 👍. Bun barotta is good too. I like the taste very much and will recommend all

I recently dined at vellore kitchen that left me thoroughly impressed - not only with the delectable food, but also with its impeccable ambiance and soothing music. The restaurant I am referring to serves its dishes in banana leaves, adding a unique touch to the entire experience. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was struck by its lovely ambiance. The lighting was warm and cozy, and the décor was tasteful, with traditional elements that added to the overall charm. The seating arrangement was comfortable and spacious, ensuring that I could relax and enjoy my meal in peace. The music was another highlight of my visit. The restaurant played a blend of classic and contemporary tracks that were perfectly suited to the atmosphere. The music was not too loud, but loud enough to create a relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Now, onto the main attraction - the food. The dishes were served in banana leaves, which not only added an aesthetic appeal to the presentation but also helped to enhance the flavor of the food. Each dish was full of aromatic spices and herbs, perfectly balanced to create an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I particularly enjoyed the aromatic rice, which was cooked to perfection and complemented the curries exceptionally well. Overall, I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance, music, and, most importantly, the food, were all top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
