Additionally, the service was quick but lacking in organization, particularly evident in their reluctance to accept UPI payments. This aspect could certainly benefit from improvement, as it hindered the overall customer experience.
Despite the anticipation created by the hype surrounding the 'Amma biryani', it appears that the meal fell short of the heightened expectations. While the taste was satisfactory, the meal's size and meat tenderness played a crucial role in determining the overall dining experience. Addressing these factors could significantly enhance the restaurant's appeal and ensure that the customers' expectations are more consistently met.

This place serves only chicken & mutton biryani, no other dishes served here. Too crowded, 5 to 10 mins of waiting required to get seated. Jeera samba rice and tender Mutton makes biryani excellent and a must visit place when in vellore.
To my experience, one of my favorite place for Briyani. The mutton briyani and chicken Briyani taste soooooo good. I do love it a lot. Whenever I head vellore, i alwz use to have a take away. The rice and the meat was so delicious and juicy. One thing bother was, the raita qty was less and the brinjal curry wasn't upto the standard and it was too watery. Other than that, briyani taste awesome.

I've tasted Mutton Biriyani and Boiled Egg. Very tasty and famous restaurant in Vellore. This restaurant is very near to Old Bus Stand. Too much of crowd: Family, Friends, Workers, Students and many visits here and enjoy their delicious food. Don't miss to visit here. Amma Briyani Restaurant is located in Old Bus Stand, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. You get both Mutton and Chicken Biryani in the afternoon. At night, you get only Chicken Biryani. The Biryani is hygienic, of high quality, tasty, and does not cause any trouble to your stomach. It is one of the best biryani shops in Vellore.

Vellorians if you ask about Biriyani, their preference would be (1) Amma biriyani, (2)Jothi Biriyani,(3) Akshaya biriyani in the old Bus stand and Vellore kitchen in New Bus stand.
In recent years the city has got more delicious restaurants. However Amma biriyani has been a trademark for Vellore for several years.

Briyani was superb, the curry which they provide with the briyani was awesome. In traditional South Indian banana leaf they used to serve the briyani. Satisfied😊

Authentic taste of Vellore Briyani ! A tiny place with just briyani. Both briyani costs Rs.100. Dont expect a very decent place. It's a local style one.
