What a lovely place! Super happy that we can sit on the floor here - I love that! And the kitty, I fell in love 😻 the food was also super delicious (forgot to make photos of that) and it's super cheap (around 100 rupees for a dish).

Food is always amazing. We tried the full north Indian thali, paratha, tea, pani puri, mango lassi, chole bathure, not one thing was disappointing! I have had so many Dahi Puri's throughout my time in the Indian mainland, but the taste of the one I had in Roots Kitchen is gonna stay on my taste buds for a long time. Amazing service, Colorful artworks and very good staff. Definitely visiting again whenever I am hitting Auroville ♥️

The food and the ambience of this place is amazing and definitely recommend for amazing and mouthwatering North Indian dishes. The service chefs and even the owner is super kind and the hospitality and comfort was really lovely .

If you really want good food taste in Pondicherry and if you are from northern part of India then do must visit here, the chief is from Kolkata and he have really good sense of cooking. I ate Pani-Puri, aalu ka Paratha with sweet and soury chutney and chole bhature. Also this is a vegetarian restaur

If you are looking for home food away from home then this is your place. :) We ordered thali which had bhindi, daal, chapati and papad. Everyday the sabji varies. Food is just delicious. Uncle here is also pretty cool, meet him to know his fun experiences. :)
