My stay here was nothing short of fantastic, and I can't wait to return on my next visit to the city.
Authentic food. The service was excellent. The taste was good. There was another Burma Hotel in bypass. I am not talking about this restaurant. I visited inside Viruthunagar Town.
Food was tasty except mutton meat balls which was a waste of money - pls don't order that. Mutton chukka was average, not bad. Parotta items were good.
We tried the Pura, Sukka, Liver, and Nalli with Parotta, all were incredibly π
Burma! Worth the hype π
I was told by my relatives that Burma hotel located in virudhunagar is too good and they took me all the way from Aruppukottai to Virudhunagar for dinner treat!
First impression was too good as we were greeted by a guy at the parking. Ambiance was too good with a huge dining space.
An old lady came all the way to our table and showed the available side dishes available and we ordered Mutton kola, fish & nattukozhi from her.
Later our waiter took orders from us. Starting from soup to desert, everything was super good and tummy filling.
A must visit restaurant when you're in Virudhunagar. ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Donβt have their fish fry, very expensive and terrible
Parotta and Biriyani worth the hype very tasty with gravy
Restaurant ambience is very good
Toilet needs a major cleaning/renovation stinks and disgusting
Visited this place today after reviews from a Facebook group called "Where Madurai Eats" (note that this group is called Eats, not eat)
Surprisingly all tables were full with family crowd as well. We got a table within 5 minutes.
Server was courteous and suggested us what to eat. We wanted to try the parotta varieties and skipped the meals.
Both vegetarian mushroom gravy, non-veg gray (mutton), and egg mutton valisal were tasty. Tad expensive (Rs. 600 for two people) but worth the experience. Mushroom gravy had right amount of spices, might be little spicy for kids though.
Opposite to this hotel is a place where 4-5 cars can be parked but could get busier at peak time. There is a pan shop at the entrance, Rs. 20 for sweet beeda.
Visited on a busy Sunday noon for lunch. Had plain biryani and grill chicken. Grill chicken was oily and not served hot. Ordered plain biryani expecting that grill will fulfill my expectations.but both dishes disappointed a bit.

Very good food. Prices are moderate. Service is exceptional. Car parking in front of the hotel. Hotel has an AC. Staff are very friendly. Not too far away from NH if you are stopping over en route to Chennai or Kanyakumari
The trademark of oil parotta.
Still stands out for its taste.
Crowded eventhough we went late.
Aesthetic handwash area.
Poricha parotta with mutton nalli was top notch but expensive. Felt that this restaurant is expensive than many good restaurants in Chennai. At last they gave a complimentary payasam and said it was prepared with pure cow milk from their own farm which was outstanding. Must try!
This place is known for their parotas. Should try yourself one. Taste is good. What I loved is they have their own line of sarbath. You can try that instead of coke. We had biriyani and kola urundai and parotas and pepper chicken. Everything was good. Sometimes the place is crowded.
