Cascades buffet is 1 of my favourite when i visit Vizag.Ordered Soup and Veg 65 in Starters was Average,Tried their main course i,e Kaju Paneer (awesome),Yellow Daal(ok),Adraki aloo(Average)&Veg Kadai..Roti & Naan was also ok.They serve chips And Raita awesome,Now comes to desert i.e outstanding.Overall 4/5

I had the breakfast buffet from this place and the experience was great.
But evening from the Same place I have ordered chilli chicken and was disappointed it was salty and expensive.
I would recommend this place strongly for breakfast buffet.
An evergreen place with attentive staff and good food. Have not tried their buffet so can't comment on that, but otherwise all dishes were well prepared and tasty

Well would have given a higher eating but for a very small choice for vegetarians. The mulligatawny soup was excellent. The tandoori roti hot and great. The kadhai paneer was excellent with soft paneer. The disappointing factor was the garage bhara kebab. Waiting to taste the ice cream....hope the meal ends with a satisfactory note. Crowded today so I don't blame the delayed service.
Best place for dinner after 10.30PM.
Kheema curry, kheema dosa, Sambar rice and curd rice are must to have.

Breakfast and evening snacks with ice creams at pool side we can prefer dolphin cascades.... I am not happy with the people who take order. They take one order and say that the item ordered will look like this only sirrrrrr.... I felt like I am having the ordered dish for first time.

This place looks good post renovation and I had come here after a pretty long time. The ambience is good with a pool side view now and the layout of the tables is pretty nicely done too.
Now coming down to the food, I tried their veg buffet which is daily affair for lunch here (They have a dinner buffet which has non-veg items on the menu). Starting off the soup really stole the show for me. We all know how soups usually taste in the buffet menus everywhere but this was a rare exception. I had it twice. There are sprouts, salads and the lot, though there were hardly any starters. They had a cabbage fry which was good but cannot be categorized as a starter. In the main course there was tomato rice, paneer, aloo dum, okra fry, steamed rice, dal, rasam with pickles and papads to round of the dishes. In breads they had only butter naans. The desserts were very good with semiya kheer and boondi rabdi being my personal favorites.
To sum it up, this is a buffet which doesn't exactly set the house on fire when it comes to variety but more importantly all the items available were well made and tasted good. The service was prompt and responsive. At 275+taxes which will average out to around 367 per head, this is worth your time money and appetite.
Cascades is the perfect answer to the midnight hunger pangs. In a place like Vizag where there are not many midnight joints open, it provides an excellent opportunity to taste it's brilliantly made biryani. Coming to food, the preparation of sambhar of the dosa that we ordered was really good, so was the coconut chutney. On another instance, the dolphin special biryani stole the show. The biryani is mouth watering, perfectly cooked and sumptuous amount of mutton served with raita and gravy. This is one place we go every time we are hungry after 12! All in all, an excellent experience at the restaurant.
Always a pleasant experience. Usually come here for breakfast and they always make it a great start for the day. Courteous and peppy staff with a pool view. Continental food is wat it is supposed to be....Continental standard and Indian food is homely.

The cascades,I've been visiting this place for so long that this is the no1 on my list whenever I am in town,one of the very few places that serve late into the night and has helped me ward off my hunger pangs during numerous nightouts.
The must tries at this place without a thought should be their Kheema biryani- one of the best you can come across mildly spiced with perfectly cooked kheema,their chicken chopsuey is humongous and comes in a white sauce spread over the chopsuey- right up there with the good ones.
on my recent visit we ordered for a kheema dosa,Chicken curry with Paratha and an onion dosa to finish of the curry given with the parathas.The kheema dosa was filling however it lacked the taste of the kheema served in a biryani and dint really please my taste buds,the chicken curry and paratha seemed okayish and needs no special mention.
overall this is one of those places ppl like visiting post their 2nd show movie or a round of drinks,this is one of those places which serves you 24*7 and is definitely on the expensive side thanks to it being located in a star property.

One place that you can visit right through the day (excluding 3 AM to 7 AM I guess) and will never disappoint. Try their cheese omelette for breakfast or the very tasty veg buffet for lunch, chilly cheese toasts and coffee in the evng, the lavish non veg dinner, or the selected menu midnight snacks .. When you enter this restaurant, what catches your eyes is the beautiful swimming pool adjacent to it. The ambiance therefore looks great. Well laid out buffet breakfast and hospitable service makes this restaurant a fitting choice for a quiet breakfast / food.
Cascades, the newly renovated restaurant at the dolphin property. I generally prefer horizon but late in the night when horizon is shut, this is where we go. they have a very limited menu at that time, nevertheless they do not compromise on the quality of food.
Of all that is available i would strongly recommend the kheema dosa. the service is top notch even at this hour. This is the place to go to post midnight,
I've been here multiple times. The ambience is very good and the food is amazing.
I've ordered Cream of chicken soup with Chilli paneer along with Fish n Chips (*i was missing this dish) the soup lacked a little flavor.
For the main course, we chose Butter Naan with Paneer butter Masala and Chilly chicken, which was extraordinary in both taste and flavor.
Finished the Meal with Lassi.
Overall experience was good. We didn't face the hassle of waiting for the table cos we booked it in advance.
I would definitely say that the prices are a bit too much as a dinner for four cost me Three thousand. But, if you chose the buffet, the food is definitely worth a try.

We went to this place after Saturday night clubbing at around 3. Ours was the last order. It took them a while but totally worth it. Very good biryani. The aroma and the ambience is top notch. Definitely like a 5 star hotel.

The buffet breakfast is worth the money. For the lunch they serve vegetarian buffet whereas for dinner they serve non veg.. I love the dinner and cost worthy.. Definetly try out the deserts
I went there with the children at around 12.30 pm. I was a bit early for the buffet, but it was ready. The number of items, ambiance, etc are all good and I left the place with satisfaction.
Dolphin has always been a great option since it boasts of probably the only vegetarian buffet in town for lunch. After renovation, they merged both Vasundhara and Greenhouse into Cascades and the restaurant is quite well designed. Their lunch buffet has become even better and at 250 plus tax, it's a great deal for vegetarian lovers. Food is uniformly good, and service at Dolphin has never given cause for complaint. Dinner, though, they've made the buffet multi cuisine, and charge 450++. Best place in town for a lunch out with the family. Good quality, great pricing.

We wanted to buy some home decor from "Hirawats" at Daba garden. It became late so we decided to eat out itself as even the cook was on leave.
"Dolphin " hotel was the closest in the area so decided to try it out. My husband has been here before and had gone to a place where "Live Music " is played and the most popular song is "Happy Birthday" as after every 2Β songs there a request to play "happy birthday". The had only smabar rice there, so this time we wanted to ry the buffet.
All items were good and even though the fish starter had got over, after some time he brought it on the table.
Most of the items were very pungent so could eat very little of each. But at least few items were not so spicy. Thats why I prefer buffets: - there is something for everyone.
Prices are on the higher side compared to the spread available at restaurants like palm beach.
Decor is nice. The walls are mirrored.
Would I go again? Maybe I will if I am at Jagdamba but I will try Horizon which is on rooftop .

As always Cascades is a delight to visit. Eating by the poolside with light music is a different feeling. The food preparation is good and the service / ambience is the same with we are used to for the last 35 years. Always a delight to eat there.
Food is good. Due to some restrictions, we opted for vegetarian dishes that day. Frankly felt it isn't worth the cost for veg being a non vegetarian. Service, ambience are exceptional.

The Best. I stayed in Dolphin for 3 days. Food Taste and quality is very good. The staff is even more friendly and supportive. We had plans to have food outside. But got locked with Dolphin with hospitality, and food they provided. Happy to visit again and again.

They have live music which is fun. Food is okay.
Nice spread of dishes. But during the weekends you have to wait if you don't pre-book. Nice view to enjoy and have a sumptuous meal
