This is my childhood go-to place. The taste, ambience, feel all are same yet until now. I feel quite nostalgic anytime I visit it. A cosy and classy place to hangout.

It has been my favourite since my childhood, the menu here is overpriced now a days. Need to be more aggressive in terms of business on your online segment. We generally never find food ex participating in any campaigns by swiggy etc.

Pretty standard bakery items. Puff, rolls, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. The veg sandwich is good. The Black Forest cake is my favorite though. From 7.00 pm to 10.00pm they serve some additional items, would love to try that some day.
foodex has got many outlets here in Vizag. I have been here uncountable times. This used to be my regular go to place(since 2010) to grab some quick food. You'll get a variety of pastries, cakes, muffins and other savoury items. Do try their ice-creams. Jamaican magic, mellow jelly, chocolate cordial, Swiss chocolate and what not. You can go for the icecream sandwich as well.
Food-ex has many outlets in Vizag and racks up decent bakery stuff and fast food at affordable rates. Have relished the Paneer Temptation pizza and veg sandwich here hich i found good. However,the samosa and reheated which makes them rubbery and loses the crispyness! A vegan person can get a good meal here. The place has quick self-service counter and can order cakes too. Though parking is woe as you have to park on the main road and that becomes an issue on weekends.
Its my regular common place frm 2009 . While i was studying here. They have lot of pastry and cakes and snacks as well... must try the ice creams at jack frost

Like the concept of picking the food for ourself. I came in for a quick bite with family after relaxing at the beach.Luckily got place to sit.The cost of the items are so reasonable and taste very good .

The oldest and finest bakery of vizag. The taste still remains the same, alike the menu. Fresh and yummy breads. The food served has always been fresh. Been here ample times. Love the eclairs over here and the rum balls.

One of the oldest food joint and bakery in town. During our college times we used to visit this almost everyday and the interiors are the same till date. I would say prices are pocket friendly. They prepare large quantities of starters like paneer tikka , veg manchuria , gobi manchuria , chilli paneer , veg buns , chicken starters and they place in a section where we can take in portions and bill it in counter. Its like a buffet of starters and buns. Few starters are good like paneer tikka and manchuria but buns are not great its just bread with not much of taste. Pizza and burgers are okish. Pastries are good. Its like a luck by chance, when they make batch its tastes good.

Good quality and nice taste, With good pricing. They have a good menu and we can order from Jack Frost sitting in food ex. Finally it is a comfy place to hang out.

The best part about this place is the consistency in the taste of food. There are these "chocolate cake" with no icing, no cream. Just like tea cake, which has been my current favourite.

Tomato soup and garlic bread supreme are good. Chicken burger is nice. Pizzas are just okay. Cream buns and pastries are good. Place is little congested especially in the evenings. It is crowded. Billing counter is in extreme corner. Hard to reachout.

Pastries are not very tasty these days. You can find fresh puffs, rolls, chicken n veg starters here. I recommend chicken puff,shangai chicken, chilli chicken pizza. They have to improve to survive the competition around this place.

If you grew up in Visakhapatnam in the 90s you know all about this place and its savory pastries, puffs and their chicken 65s.... all served up in shiny (and floppy) aluminium 'plates'. Still come here often for a quick biting especially with old friends but the veteran menu and decor is starting to become a bore and unhealthy.
This is known as vizags oldest coffee shop! Done up the old way. They have a huge variety of puffs sandwiches on display which you could pick up in a tray and bill. You can call for pizzas which they would make fresh though they don't have most of the pizza mentioned in the menu. The kadam chicken pizza I has was okayish. The sandwiches are decent. Would go back for pastries :)

They serve the works.... Small eats like Manchurian Dry, Aloo 65, Veg and Chicken Puffs, to Chicken Wings, Chicken Fry are made to perfection, with food which is an absolute pleasure to an Andhrite's pallette....
They also serve fast food like Pizzas, Burgers and Hot Dogs, which are all made with generous toppings and cheese.
For dessert, they have a wide range of pastries, cup cakes and cakes, which is a perfect way to end the meal

Obviously the best and most crowded place in Vizag. The only matter that bothers is the no. Of people coming to this place. We have to wait quite sometime to get a seat.

This place never seizes to amaze me, for the past 15years I was never for once disappointed for eating at this brilliant place. Foodex basically introduced our generation in Vizag to fast food. The starters are delicious, the hotdogs are orgasmic and not to mention the desserts are pure bliss.

One of Vizag's oldest fast food joints. Definitely among one of my favorites to just go and grab a quick bite with friends. The prices have seen an astronomical rise ever since the first time I stepped in here. Nevertheless it doesn't stop us from ever coming back. All their snacks are prepared in a live kitchen and rolled out fresh by the batch so you can expect fresh food. Cakes and pastries are pretty decent as well.
Pizza started here many years later at affordable prizes . But the quality here is not consistent . Sometimes it feels good and sometimes not . Kadai chicken pizza here is my all time favourite . Food is good there specially non veg. There have variety of food items in their bakery varying from kabbas , breads , puffs , burgers etc .All the items are already made ready just like in buffet system only you have select and order it .service is good but need improvement as lot chaos is there. The food joint has been serving the city for over a decade.. Maintaining its quality and and offering the food at an reasonable price..buns, cakes , pastries, pizzas , burgers.. Name it and yu have it..
It was a delight to visit this place. To start with, the name was intriguing. Upon entering, the first thing that caught the eye was the huge platter of confectionary and the fact that they baked and prepared the breads then and there. You could even see the bakery/kitchen section just beside you.
The food was superb and the long jons were great. What brought me again were the extreme pocket-friendliness of the place, and maintaining good quality throughout. Kudos foodex!

All varities of veg and non veg snack items like pizzas, rolls, chilly panner, chilly chicken, puffs, cakes.. But prices little high compared to quantity but you can effort as the items are freshly cooked and baked. From past 20 years I have been going there. Lot of oil is there in Chilly panner and not that much hot.

But their business model has remained the same all through the years of being simple and accommodative to customers.
I would take special mention of Jack Frost(which is crowd favorite among all ages),even though you sip a milkshake with the giants in the world spending so much but if you are from vizag then surely your taste buds will crave for Jackfrost.

Foodex a well known eatery near the HSBC office campus and within the reach of Andhra university. Have self service and generally both credit card and debit cards are accepted as payments. No wheelchair accessible entrance and have to take few steps. Service is good and staff are responsive.
