Visited this place with a friend for lunch. The interiors are nice with comfortable and cozy seating arrangements and I just loved the lighting. The staffs are polite and courteous.
Coming to the food we ordered:
🔹️ White Rice: The rice was well cooked.
Price: Rs 60/- only
🔹️ Dal fry: It was just amazing. One of the best dal fries I had till date.
Price: Rs 180/- only
Taste: 5/5
🔹️ Andhra Chicken curry: Loved the chicken curry. The chicken pieces were cooked to perfection and had a proper balance of all the spices.
Price: Rs 270/- only
Taste: 4/5
Overall it was a nice experience. Be it a date or just hanging out with with friends you can always visit this place. They have a wide number of dishes in their menu to choose from. Both the quality and quantity are great.
So, do drop in guys and have a great time with your loved ones over some good food at reasonable prices.
Fried rice is the best and the gravy with that is also excellent I like all items appallo fish is another.

Tastes good.. But ppl for two charges around ₹700-800 btwn, by ordering a soup, starter and biryani (non-veg).. Ofcourse veg lover's also costs around same..
Food over here is delicious! The recommended dish would be the biriyani. Definitely, biriyani here is a must try! Also, the North Indian food! Totally, a great restaurant!

The food here was good. Delivery time was quite fast. Ordered chicken fried rice and chicken Manchurian. Taste was quite ok. the cost of good was bit expensive one.
We happened to be near MV Colony and wanted to try out Andhra style food. Walked into this place. The ambience was nice. They have a black board with the day's special menu. The staff was courteous.
Tried out their chicken hara bhara kebab and prawn biryani. The biryani tasted awesome and was in wholesome quantity while the kebab pieces were too dry and nothing great. The service was brisk. Pricing was moderate.
Been to the good old Delicacies! If not all, I felt very nostalgic about the place. I have seen the place grow and change. Probably it started when I was a little kid, and I remember bringing home Naans and Rotis in parcels from here. This time I ordered the Special Biryani. The food was good, the service is average. The place has remained to be one of the hangout places for most college kids in MVP colony. ( I gave treats for my friends as a college kid too here).
If you don't have too much of expectations and want to try out decent Andhra style food, this one is for you...

Fantastic chicken boneless biriyanis. According to me it's the best biriyani you can get in Vizag. But generally it does come under one of the best biriyanis you can get in Vizag!
Not such a great ambience. Can go with your male friends and have a great time over delicious biriyanis :D
Deligent kind of ambience and serving.Food was also at is better taste.Response of servers should be taken care, bcoz it is crowded place and the only best hotel in Mvp Colony.

Nice place for a family visit. The food was good and the ambiance was amazing too. The chicken dum biriyani was good and also had navratan curry which was quite good. Definitely worth a second visit.
Delicacies restaurant is located near Ushodaya junction,MVP.This place was on my list for a long time,so finally paid a visit yesterday.We ordered quail fry and mixed biryani.Quail fry was good but mixed biryani was more like mixed fried rice. Ambience and service was good. Food quality was great,so totally it was a nice experience.

Delicacies Restaurant started way back in the early 90s. I have spent 40 years of my life in MVP Colony and I remember this was one of the few places that I remember frequenting over all these years. Yes, every restaurant goes through phase shifts at times, when the food doesn't live up to you your expectations, but what I have seen is the enthusiasm of the owners to customize food to suit your palate, which doesn't exist in most of the restaurants.
I am a big time foodie and I have visited almost all the restaurants over the past 4 decades. I don't agree with most of your reviews as they don't appear unbiased. No, i am not a hotelier nor someone who is writing in their support. I am just a simple Vizagite who loves good food and feel happy recommending such places to friends and family.
As a popular reviewer on Tomato, i didn't expect you to use unparliamentary language in responding to your critics. That was like stooping down to the lowest level of literacy.
I therefore expect you to review responsibly and give your unbiased feedback which will help people like me select the right place for the right occasions.

One of the best places for biryani in vizag. The service does take some time especially at parcel counter. The restaurant got renovated which brings a fresh look to it. Menu is bit old.
Plz update the menu...these rates no longer exists...food is very good... specially garlic naan...i went for parcel n it does not take time.
This was always the first place on our mind to eat out our favourites during college days. You will gt the best service with good quality food served hot. You will never be disappointed with the price and quantity balance. Must go place I should say. Residents of MVP colony will be best to get a better opinion on the quality of this restaurant

We had lunch here while visiting vizag... We we dead hungry and madly searching for a decent place to eat in the immediate vicinity. Since we were having network issues and were not being able to access zomato we had to rely on the locals to guide us to one.
It was a sunday afternoon. We went at around 3 pm but the place was still buzzing with people. We ordered maincourse straightaway. We wanted to dig into gongura chicken and appam but the former was sold out and the latter was not on the menu. So we had to do away with our good old butter naan, chicken chettinad and andhra mutton curry. The naan was drenched in butter, pillowy soft inside and chewy outside. Just too good. Chicken chettinad was a tad bit shy in terms of heat and robustness for my palate but enjoyed it nonetheless. Lastly it was mutton curry. Which was to die for. Its a must eat. Forgot to take the pic of the mutton dish as we were guzzling away due to extreme hunger.

Most importantly shall i revisit them?? Yes i would.
Seating and Ambience appeared like old fashioned but forget them.. the food is very spicy may be because they serve the best south indian dishes but order anything and you will be impressed. I don't eat spicy though south indian, so ended up tasting lots of dishes which my friends ordered. Fish recipes will never cease to surprise you. They will charge extra tax if paid with card 💳 demotivating remonetization
My first restaurant experience in Vishakapatnam! The ambience is good, staff courteous and food is very good too. Our standard order of roti, mix veg and veg biryani was yumm.

We have ordered prawn biryani, chicken biryani and roti along with chettinad veg curry. The taste was fine good overall and the quality of biryani rice was appetizing. Biryani was spicy and is recommendable. Chettinad veg curry had a different flavour in it and was delish. The ambience was good and the place was crowded. The service was pleasant.
The best restaurant in Vizag forever. Especially fried rice with paneer butter masala super. The waiters will suggest you the best food and all.

Friendly staffs and good ambience.. taste of food is good too. But I will divide the food in 3 parts and review them differently.
Chinese food : well spread menu. Tastes are decent enough though not out of the box. But yes you can surely visit again to have some chicken items.
Tandoori food : again great spreading of Menu. And taste really good. Special mention toAchari murg kebab. And Chicken reshmi kebab was just perfect. Balance of masalas and heating is just so perfect to eat them as many as you can. Would love to go down again and again if they continue this taste.
Biryani : Now many says ( including the staffs ) that their biryani is something worth of. And I found the menu rather interesting.. every tandoor item was placed under biryani as well ( eg : chicken reshmi biriyani , chicken tikka biryani etc). So I decided to try it up. Ordered chicken reshmi biriyani and chicken dum Biryani both. And the later one is decent enough.. chicken was well cooked with masala getting into it.. but chicken reshmi was a disaster!!! It was more over a pulav rather than biriyani. I could clearly taste taste it as chicken reshmi kebabs were cut in pieces and put it in the top of masala rice. A big disappointment. [-1 ] for biryani
Food is decent but little bit on the expensive side.. Taste wise is decent.. The ambiance is good after the renovation work has happened.. Noodles manhcueiya soup are good and the main course is decent.
You'll get best butter Nan at this place. And some good food. You can enjoy. Especially the schezwan Fried rice. And the fish curry at this place. Have a bit ones.
This our treat spot in our college days. We used to celebrate birthday parties here. All Chinese vegetarian items are perfect and absolutely no doubt.
Currently the restaurant continues to maintain the same taste and courteous.
Food is good. Naans are one of the best I ever had. Biryanis are also good. But service is pathetic. The staff really needs to be trained as to how to be courteous to the customers. If you just want the food, then it's a place to go.
Visited this place again on my recent and short trip to Vizag. This place had a serious makeover just in case of ambience but not in terms of quality and service.
We were a group of 6 and have ordered starters like Kung Chicken, Malaysian Chicken and Chilly Chicken.
Malaysian Chicken and Chilly Chicken tasted average but the Kung Chicken is the tandoori platter made of Indian spices and tasted exceptionally great with the right amount of spices and was the lone saviour.
The main course included Mutton Biryani, Chicken Boneless Biryani and a Chicken Fry Piece Biryani and all the Biryani's were too oily,the pieces were bland and rice was tasteless.
It's overpriced both in terms of quantity and the quality of the food they serve for.
The renovation at Delicacies took them from class to Master Class restaurant. Most preferable restaurant in this part of the city. Recommended
Took a takeaway of the famous 555 biriyani. Disappointed 😞! The chicken was bland and the rice was tasteless. It is hardly spicy like it once used to be. The price shot up too. Though the packing and ambience has improved. Not sure if it would be the same had it been eaten in there.

Good place, spicey food for spice lovers, reasonable rates. You should try naan here, the best in vizag and ya don't forget tandoori chicken and Fried rice.majestic chicken is there signature they say, I've tired it once. It's good. We get food from this place frequently.But the place is noisy sometimes. This made me give a four star.
