The iconic restaurant of Ahmedabad which has been operating for many decades. One of the very first ones to start serving Punjabi Food to Amdavadis.
The taste and quality is still the same. Visited after a decade. Food satisfaction is 10/10. However, the place was completely empty on Sunday evening at 8:30 PM. Which was pretty fortunate and unfortunate at the same time.
No change in ambience for decades. Old tables and chairs, only a couple of serving people.
I would definitely recommend this to have authentic North Indian food. The veg preparation was so delicious that you can literally feel the taste of each and every vegetable in that. Rotis are purely wheat based. And the crisp is perfect.
Go for it and feel the nostalgia.
Nostalgic moment for me when I visited this place. Some 25-30 years back, this place used to be a crowded one and favourite for Punjabi food. Still the food was as good as those days but the place might have lost a charm. Now only students are found there. But still if you like ethnic Punjabi food then must go with your family.
Neelam's Lutf is by far one of the best restaurants I've eaten at. Great food, good quality, scrumptious, delicious and sufficient in quantity to fill a hungry belly. The quality of non veg food is brilliant and literally unmatched in Ahmedabad, except, probably by Eat Punjab. Do go to Neelam's Lutf for a good meal that's Punjabi at heart.
