We visited this restaurant two months ago for a family dinner. This restaurant is inside The Ritz-Carlton on Residency Road. It was on my must visit list of restaurants for a while now. The place is nice with a rather cinematic entry to the restaurant with a beautifully crafted water source surrounded by flambeau (flaming torches), which in the night is quite scenic and a photographer's delight. Seating is spacious with dimly lit lights on the second floor. You get to see live musicians playing instruments with Indian classical tunes like they used to play in a King's court. Until now, it was all fine, and I was looking for an Awadhi spread in the menu card (as their specialty) and ordered from the list. Unfortunately, the authenticity of the food was missing taste-wise. The portion size was quite low against the premium price. I am a light eater but still felt it. Galouti Kebab was one the reason for visiting this place, but I will rate it 6/10. Awadhi Murg Biriyani was also disappointing with a strong influence of Hyderabadi (Nizami) Biriyani. Naan varieties were saving grace in the entire dinner. We ordered a Chef's special Gosht E Awadh, which was a soul sister of the prestigious Kashmiri Rogan Josh! Sweet dishes are limited as it is with most of the same category restaurants. However, I should mention the service offered by both Mr. Raj and Ms. Rosie (I hope the name is correct) they both were an ultimate example of wow customer service with a very limited staff presence during festival days of October. Special thanks to both of them for an enjoyable evening! At the end, if you are a foodie, then visit once for the experience.
I liked the place. Starting from the ambience, ther service the food everything was very good. An open kitchen concept, this place serves a variety of North Indian delicacies. Their prices are quite high considering the ambience and the place. So if you looking to fine dine for lunch or dinner then do visit this place and try their non veg platter and Shahi tukda for dessert. It's amazing...
Riwaaz is an amazing restaurant with impeccable service.
I would definitely mention Poulami and Ritalis‘s name who made sure that we were looked after.
The food is really nice and I would definitely recommend ”Gosht ki Nahari“ and Kebab Platter.
All in all one of the best restaurants i have ever been to.
