I visited this restaurant on a weekend afternoon for lunch as I had a seafood craving. There is not much advertisement & there is a homely feel to it. To be honest, I almost loved all of the items I've tried there. So, getting right to it I will list down my recommendations:
1) Crab Masala: the tangy masala is mouth watering & the crabs are fresh, sweet & juicy.
2) Karimeen Pollichathu: This fish preparation was the best I've had till date. There was a hint of smokiness in this & the taste of the fish was marvellous.
3)Prawn Ghee Roast: not that spicy, but very very tasty!
4) Fishermen's meal: homely, fulfilling & classic. Their jackfruit papad was just too good.
5) Konchu Thoran: Try it to believe it. If you love prawns & coconut, this is for you.
All the accompaniments were at par. However, I felt that the Kappa Biryani had too much tapioca & practically no meat. I'd avoid that if I revisit.
Apart from that, my 2 hours were very satisfying & I'll definitely recommend a visit.
I'll update my review in case I revisit.
