Black pearl is situated in Koramangala is pleasant treat for anyone who is into themed restaurants. Fans of the brilliant movie franchise, "Pirates of the Caribbean", would immediately know what the theme is, just with the name of the hotel. It's got a pirate ship themed set up, with pirate statutes and skeletons lying all over the place. An absolute fun set up for sure.
Coming to the important aspects, the food was good. The menu had very similar dishes to that of barbeque nation with the same starters and the same barbeque style set up. Delicious food and very good service as well. A good variety of desserts which, you guessed it, are pirate themed. There is also a grill and pizza live corner.
The set up is perfect for a good get together with a group of friends to drink and enjoy and maybe sing some sea shanties as well!
The only downside was that it did seem a bit not clean enough. It's a very ambitious ambience and decor, but the maintenance seemed to have been not done well enough. I personally just took it optimistically and pictured it to be a wrecked pirate ships interior!
Overall, a great fun experience!

Parking for two wheeler can be a pain and you might have to park on the streets along the border.
Coming to the food, The starters served before the grill are pretty good. The grill itself was ok, the prawns and chicken were a bit bland and could have been better. I tried one of their pirate themed beverage bora bora which was pretty good and my favorite part of the meal were the desserts. The staff were polite and eager to help.
The ambience is cool for a pirate themed place, but the ventilation could be better and there were loud noises from the club beneath it.
The buffet price varies based on the day and the time you go there, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall a good experience.
