The quality of food (which matters the most) in buffet is not good, and the service is also slow. But the atmosphere of the place is the best.
The location is dreamy, one could look down to see the whole city and the lake from top of the hill. The rooms and restaurants have a very aesthetic view of the sunset. The restaurants have spacious open garden to walk around.
We ordered Chicken Razala, Mutton Rogan Josh, Navratan Sabz, Bhopali Tarkari, Death by Chocolate and Gajar Halwa. The dishes were tasty but less in portion, especially for the prize we were paying. A cup of Gajar Halwa costed around ₹250, which is expensive. The service was excellent. The servers suggested dishes according to our tastes and wants, were very prompt and humble.
The interior of the hotel was beautiful, the lobby, washroom and restaurant area. Very well curated, lavish but subtle.
A wide variety of starters, main course and deserts for a throwaway price. A delight to dine here. Courtesy in Service is unmatched. A treat for non vegetarian food lovers. Misses out on the authenticity of Local cuisine but still a healthy and hygienic option. Taste is good enough too. The place is built in a real restored Palace, so can’t ask for anything more.
