Had an absolutely amazing time here. The vibes and feel of this place is just fabb.. It's a perfect place for candle light dinner with ur special one...
Hospitality and service was too good. The staff is so polite and welcoming.
I wasn't sure about the taste of food before coming here, but I am glad I went and tried it. It was tooo goood.
Had ordered,
-Cucumbertini- was refreshing and apt.
-Paneer basiloy- was basically like paneer tikka with basil flavor to it. Was good. Could have been better.
-Pan fried noodles- This was the highlight of the entire dinner. Omg, it was damn delicious and just out of the world. The noodle cake were crisp from top and bottom and the centre was soft. The gravy served with it was just amazingly delicious. I had to call the chef Bisraj Sharma to give him compliments for this dish.
A special thanks to Neeraj for making our experience really good..
And yes the place is expensive but it is the best 5star property of Bikaner, so has to be...
TLDR: Excellent food, service and ambience
I've had the chance to visit P&C at least
4-5 times over the last year. Every time, we've have a wonderful experience. Here's a review of the food items I've tried:
Red sauce spaghetti: Excellent! Love this every time I order it here. The sauce is extremely delicious.
Benarasi Tamatari Chaat: I haven't had something similar at any restaurant.
This starter is extremely rich (and unpredictable) in flavour.
Mushroom Roasty: really yum if you like mushrooms
Chilly chicken: it was decent but the aftertaste of the chicken wasn't pleasant. Kind of tasted like rubber.
Lehsuni murgh tikka: quite yum the first time I ordered. The second time i ordered it was cold and rubber-like.
Caprese Pizza: extremely yum and worth ordering. It's super cheesy (in a good way).
LIIT: I loved it! I asked them to make it in cranberry base.
Truffle pastry: exactly how a truffle pastry should taste. Would totally recommend.
Service: excellent staff. If you don't like a food item, they are courteous enough to offer to cook it again for you. The ambience is lovely and peaceful!
The not-so-great part: it's quite expensive. And, we’ve observed that waiters may treat you differently based on how you look—Indian or English/Anglo/American. For instance, they provide the physical menu to foreigners while you as an Indian pleb may be expected to scan the QR code like we were. Also, they don’t do deliveries and I get that they want their food to be eXclUsiVe but i don’t like it. My review, my rules.
This restaurant is my favorite place in Bikaner. The food is delectable and the ambience is perfect for just about any mood. Almost everything I have had here has exceeded my expectations. Last and definitely not the least, their pastries/desserts are, hands-down, the best in Bikaner.
Being a resident of Bikaner, I have never had the good fortune of staying in Narendra Bhawan which I am sure must be an experience worth reminiscing about in and of itself.
