Amazing food quality.. we took delux thali which was basically mutton thali. Mutton was soft, well cook and tasty. Alu posto and chutni was also very tasty.
Ghore Baire offers a delightful dining experience that beautifully encapsulates the essence of authentic Bengali cuisine. The restaurant boasts a decent ambiance and an extensive menu, both of which contribute to a satisfying visit.
I had the pleasure of savoring their well-prepared mutton dish, accompanied by delicious rice and paratha. What truly stood out, though, was their flavorful chutney, adding a unique twist to the meal.
Whether you prefer à la carte or thali, Ghore Baire caters to both preferences exceptionally well. The restaurant's decor is thoughtfully designed, creating an artistic atmosphere. The presence of Rabindranath Tagore photos and other art pieces inspired by him adds a cultural touch that enhances the overall dining experience.
Moreover, I must commend the excellent service provided by the attentive staff, which made us feel truly valued as diners. However, I would like to mention that the washroom facilities could be improved to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
Taking all these factors into account, I would rate Ghore Baire four stars. Despite the minor concern about the washroom, the restaurant's great food, attentive service, and artistic ambiance make it a must-visit spot in Santiniketan for anyone looking to savor the flavors of authentic Bengali cuisine.
Good food. Good mutton thali. Kinda expensive tho.
Good atmosphere. Plants available. Lawn available.
I ate in lawn in winter sunlight 😎.
Fast service during Pous Mela. Lied about ghee availability so minus one star. Also completely forgot about omlette that I ordered.
Mutton cooked so well that it was falling from bone.
Overall good restaurant.
