If I could give Jay more than five stars I would give him more. Jay is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has a restaurant with the best Thali we had in India. But he also recommended us what we could do in Bundi and showed us the city after we had lunch at his place. He arranged flowers, a flower necklace and some other presents for us. He is very enthusiastic anf a lot of fun to hang out with. We are so happy we met him and his family and had the best time in Bundi because of them. Thank you so much. And if you read this please go to his restaurant and enjoy it!!

We absolutely loved our experience at Jay’s cafe. Jay and his family are wonderful people and extremely kind hosts. They will make you feel so welcome in their home and provide delicious food.100% recommend!

Like many others we met Jay on our way towards the palace and fort. He provided helpful advice about touring the sites and loaned us a couple of bamboo sticks to fend off monkeys on the trail to the fort. (We didn’t need to use them but it was comforting to have them - and helpful on the trail down which is steep). Jay’s cafe is a couple of tables on the roof of the family house. Jay’s sister makes the food which is really good especially the pakoras and other components of the Thali. The Lassi wasn’t to my taste - too thick and sweet - and the beer was expensive (400) - overall it ended up more expensive than a similar lunch at our Haveli but made up for by the friendliness and quality of the food.

I believe this was the best meal I've had in India! Jay is quite entertaining and his sister cooks everything to order. I had some excellent lassi and the thali was out of this world, good prices. Delicious 😋
