Here's something you might not know about FoodAtU. They're the only ones in this entire region, to have a Food Truck (Munching Wheels) which can go wherever you want and serve, fresh and hot food, live! I know this because I hired their services for my toddler's birthday party a few months back. Trust me, they're awesome with their Food Truck. But other than the Food Truck, their core business is a home delivery only kitchen that serves awesome, and the most unique food I've seen in their segment. And knowing how good they are in doing what they do, I leaped up at the opportunity to sample food from their delivery only service which serves practically all day and all night. Call them at 2 in the afternoon, or 2 in the morning, these guys are ready to serve. So, here we were, invited by FoodAtU to try out their unique Indian Fusion menu. My order consisted of the following and I shall review it along. a. Paneer Pesto Tikka : This offshoot of the standard paneer tikka was made using Pesto sauce and it was excellent. The paneer cubes were soft, flavorful and the pesto (used uniquely here) never overpowered the way a tikka should taste. b. Paneer Parmesan Tikka : Take Paneer Malai tikka but add Parmesan cheese to the mix. What do you get? A fantastic paneer malai tikka that has a distinct flavour of parmesan cheese. I like Parmesan cheese and this one was a winner for me, in the appetizers. Overall, both tikkas were flavourful, and brilliant. c. Dal Makhni : Now, don't get me started on Dal Makhni. This dish is as native to Punjab and the North as the highly advertised 'Sarson ka saag te makki di roti'. Perhaps even more popular than 'saag'. And yet, more than half of the restaurants here have no clue how to make a good Dal Makhni. Their logic is to douse the dal in as much butter as they can, hoping the person would not know the difference. For me, the absolute best dal comes from the Whispering Willows/Willows Cafe family. And now, on that same position, standing alongside Willows, is the Dal Makhni by FoodAtU. Their dal is amazingly flavorful and if you're a Dal Makhni lover, you're bound to love it to the last spoonful. Full marks for the Dal Makhni from FoodAtU. d. Palak Mushroom Corn Broccoli : I never order Palak in a restaurant. It is never properly done. So how would I react at a dish which contains mushroom, corn, and broccoli of all things...with spinach??? Simple. I rate it, as the best dish of the day. This extremely tasty dish made from spinach was so good that everyone in the family was raving about it. If you're a vegetarian, you know your options are limited. Not with FoodAtU. e. Angrezi Kadhai Paneer : This was kadhai paneer as it should be done. Small chunks of paneer cooked with capsicum, just the right amount of oil and spices. Normally this dish is drenched in oil, owing to the way it is cooked and most people don't give a single thought to the gravy. This one, on the other hand, had everything going right. f. Mozzarella and Chilli Naan : I've never heard of this before. This naan had a bit of mozzarella (just a very little amount) and finely chopped green chillies in them and though the cheese is not seen much, I could feel the flavour. Quite nice I would say. But before you consume this, do reheat it properly for the cheese to become evident, or else it just amalgamates in the flour. g. Mozzarella and Olive Naan : If you, like me, do not like chillies, then this naan is for you. I had finely chopped bits of green olives in the mix, alongside the mozzarella. Tastes excellent when hot. The order also came with Lachcha Paratha and chutneys/onion salad. I must say I'm extremely impressed by their food, service, and packaging. As a vegetarian, I often find it difficult to get vegetarian food that actually tastes good. Most restaurants here focus on their non-veg fare and totally neglect things like the humble Dal Makhni. So, you can understand my excitement at discovering great food from these guys. I also hear from fellow foodies that their non-veg fare was equally delectable! Kudus to FoodAtU. You've got everything going right and with the kind of menu you have, you're a treasure waiting to be discovered. As for me, you're on speed dial!

We had a office party today and ordered from Foodu, trust me it's worth it. Salad is different than we ever had and quantity was more than I could expect. Strongly recommend the service. Packaging could have been a little more strong but honestly doesn't matter much!
