It is like a colorful and flowery wonderland. It's huge, with lots of different types of roses from all over the world. When you visit, you can walk around on nice paths and smell the lovely rose scents. There's even a festival sometimes with music and shows.
It is a peaceful retreat where you can relax and forget about the city's busy life. It's well-kept, with pretty lawns, swings, fountains, and sculptures. If you love flowers and want a quiet place to chill, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden is the perfect spot in Chandigarh.

Really loved just being there. Free Entry, Public friendly surrounding, vibrant sceneries and a hell lot of roses. Just a suggestion for staff that some flowers do need a little bit attention.
Chandigarh's Rose Garden is Asia's biggest botanical garden that has been named after India's former President Mr Zakir Hossain.
The garden was set up in 1967 and spread over an area of 30 acres. The garden has collection of 50000 rose bushes with 1600 different spices which makes the place unique one.
Every year, the popular rose festival begins on feb.17 and concludes on Feb.19.
Though I couldn't see the beauty of full blooming garden but landscaping of garden, trees, plants and fountains speaks the story itself.
The Garden is not famous for roses only, but also the plants/ trees of medicinal value.
Park is good enough for nature lovers, indeed.
There are play area, small bridges with walking/jogging tracks and public washrooms.
Lots of opportunities for photography. Free entry.
Grt place for picnic with family and friends !!!.
