Where do you go in adyar if you want veg food and my first choice is always Prems grama bhojanam. 3 of us went to this place for dinner and as always loved the food. We ordered one mini tiffin, neer dosai, cholam dosai and buttermilk. Mini tiffin was huge in quantity with thatu idli, uthapam, kuzhi paniyaram and panagam. Taste wise everything was perfect and the price was very nominal. Will def keep going again and again.

The chutneys tasted really good. Food was very light on the tummy and very tasty.
Where do I even start? In my one year stint in chennai i visited this place four times and every time my body thanked me for such a soulful meal!
I remember the first time I went there, my first reaction after seeing the ambience wasn't very pleasing. But gradually I understood it is "gram bhojnalaya" and true to its name it serves you wonderful food in very clean and simple setting.
I always used to order there thaali which had an assortment of all things good. But my main takeaway from the place is panakkam. I was so blown away from taste of this drink that I learnt the recipe and now it is a staple in my home. My mother usually doesn't like outside food but even she loved the food here!
Before I left Chennai I made sure to visit this place a last time. Sending so much love to the courteous staff of this place. If I ever visit chennai again, will surely do a stopover at murugan for idlis in breakfast and prem's for a hearty lunch!! ❤️
