Good old cakes and puffs. I always go back for their fruit and nut buttercream came. Soft, decadent and not at all over the top for a buttercream cake! Also their plum and madeira cake!!! To die for!
Whenever I go to Mandaveli definitely I will bite a Japanese Cake. I wish I should have tasted this cake from Childhood. People serving you will remember you and next time when you visit they'll serve you the same. Such a lovely people and place. Cookies with Butter Cream yummy !!!

Cakes are predominant here for their varieties and taste!! Walnut, pista based butter-cream cakes are famous here..
The shop is quite big with seating facilities.. Beverages are sold along with packed food items like chips, biscuits, plum cakes, pastries, etc etc.. This should explain the "a step ahead" phrase.
Ambiance is good and quality as well.
Awesome n fresh cakes and brilliant cookies would be the apt thing to say about McRennett. I especially love the hazelnut cake, the lil tea cake, and the shahi gulabi cookies. Total yummm.. An immediate place I would recommend to a person with a sweet tooth

One of the oldest and standard bakery shops maintaining its quality and taste over decades. Pocket friendly. Quite famous for their chicken puffs.
Their pista cakes are my all time favourite. Their cinnamon bread was perfect. Raisin buns were spot on when we toasted with some butter. They had macarons (4 pieces in a box), chocolate mini croissants. They have newly launched honey seeds bread.

The shop is large for the racks placed can add more racks and more varieties of snacks. The food items are good in quality and taste

They have the best pista cakes. After the recent remodel seems to have a lot of different variety of breads. Staff are polite and fast.

Best place to buy bread, buns, biscuits and cakes. Best because of reasonable prices for good and tasty products. Clean and well packed. Nice Airconditioned shop with small place to sit and eat.
Good place for pastry, bakery and sweets in RApuram, it's located on a prominent road and easily identifiable just on the main road
