Location & Ambience: Located opposite to Meenakshi College at the Arcot Road this place is easy to give a miss while travelling via the road. McRennett stands tall over the years when it comes to serving the customers with delicious baked goods. There isn’t any place to eat and dine; it should mostly be a takeaway and they also sell chocolates, baked good, etc., from other brands. This shall be my goto place when I am in need to cakes or puffs at the very last minute.

Taste & Variety: I have been to this place uncountable number of time so this is a cumulative review. And my regular orders are Green Nut Cake and Puff varieties. The green nut cake is my all-time favorite, not sure if you get anywhere else but it one is really killer and goodness that the taste remains the same till date. Nevertheless is the other cakes, I have a handful of variety and none have disappointed me in terms of taste or quality. The puffs are another good pick. They have maintained the quality of their product and coming to the pricing it is reasonable and affordable. It would cost around Rs.200 INR for two people to grab some snacks and even the cakes pricing are reasonable.
