The experience was really good, particularly the food. I was there for dinner and tried paneer tikka in starter, paneer kofta and kadhai paneer in main course. The only frustrating thing that you might encounter is the overcrowded space , and it is possible that you might have to wait for sometime before you get.
Talking about the food served, it was really delicious. I really liked the authenticity of the taste in each dish, also the amount of spices in each dish was perfect.
I will review Geetham only for their tiffin (breakfast) items. I have been going here since 2012. It was Sangeetha at that time and they have maintained their quality and taste of food till now!
Must try:
- Tiffin items are second to none. Try anything and you will love it. I always go in for idli-vada platter and the podi ghee masala dosa (Yum! Yum! Yum!)
- The sambhar served here is the BEST sambhar I have tasted anywhere else. It's a proper rich and nutritious dal with lots of vegetables. Not the watery overly sour variety you get in north India.
- Cold coffee with ice cream and cold boost with ice cream are both excellent but be vary - they are heavy.
- Both hot tea and coffee are excellent. Tea is perfect but the coffee is a bit stronger for my taste. (They are both pre sweetened so you may ask for sugar on the side).
- They have a sweets counter as well which is all home made. Must try the Golden Halwa there.
Overall this is always my go-to place for a fully satisfying tiffin breakfast. It's carb overload but everything is fermented and digests easily.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. The service is unmatched.
