The name is now changed to Coastal Kinara. It is a small but good place to dine in. Their special fish thali is awesome. We even ordered Punjabi Chicken with Naan. Taste wise it is a nice place.
When I come across a better restaurant, I have this urge to revisit all my earlier reviews/ratings ... However, I don't do it inorder to avoid recency bias...😀
Having said that, the fish thali at Coastal Kinara is by far the best I have had so far. I have had fish thali at Copper Leaf, Sharda Classic and Ritz Classic, they were nice but nowhere close to the fish thali at Coastal Kinara. The fish thali here was surely a gustatory pleasure for the palate.
Every dish in the thali had a depth to it ... fresh, distinct, well balanced and delectable 👍.
We had batter fry squid and chicken hakka noodles too and both dishes were scrumptious. The batter fry squid was perfect...not oily and tender.
It's a no frills and fancy place, with a mezzanine air-conditioned floor. The place is clean and the service definitely depends on the footfall. Being close to the beach, this place does see a good crowd on weekends and holidays. The portion size is good & the food is reasonably priced...5 of us ate here and our bill barely touched INR 1500/-.
I'm so glad that this place is at arms reach from where I live and home deliveries are frequent 😉.
YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!!
The food was really delicious. The ambience is good. I had the best Goan thali from here. Highly recommended
