Nice place to relax and have some tasty food; we've had pancakes, sandwiches, quiches and pakoras. Everything is freshly made and well seasoned. Also their ginger lemongrass mint tea is amazing!

This is a cute cafe right next to Norbulingka that offers some English breakfast options albeit with a touch of the mountains. The food and feel has the goodness of home. It’s run by two young girls who are nifty, make everything quick. Recommended dishes: - Special Omelette with Veggies & Cheese - Pan Cake with Nutella - Coffee (ask for less sugar) - Lemon Tart The price averages out to Rs 150/- per dish, the cafe in itself is thoughtfully made with great views. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast!

If you visit norbulingka institute, then this is the best place to have some quality food. The cafe doesn't look like much from outside but once you step inside, it has a nice vibe to it with a lot of books to read. You can blindly order anything from the menu and it would be good. This was my regular place to eat during my stay at norbulingka.
