Delicious yummy food! Rawa fried prawns and the shell fish curry are a must try!
Went for lunch a sunday afternoon, in a party of eight. Ordered some local fish (konkro) with recheado masala, plates of finger fries, alcohol, a plate of tiger prawns. Everything was fresh and tasty. All this for starters. Main course was fish thali for all eight of us, which was tasty. All in all with alcoholic and non - alcoholic drinks the entire bill came to less than Rs 2.5 k! Ambience was basic but was cool in temperature. Service was bit slow as a single waiter but he was friendly. A family run restaurant that's why the food was tasty! Worth going there for a lazy inexpensive meal!
Went to divar island around lunch time. We were hungry and from locals came to know we will get food only at Rock Inn. Authentic goan food.
Its a simple place like a roadside dhaba and as expected for a small island. It seemed to have rocks around as if inside rock so the name probably.
Ordered prawn fry, prawn curry and rice, veg thali and fried papads. Veg thali was good which was basically daal, rice, laal saag, salad and papad. Prawns were nice not very great. Overall wholesome food. Also ordered beer and some colddrinks
Service was quite good, quick, prompt and friendly. Pocket friendly. All above costed us INR 580. Go to Rock Inn when at Divar Island.
