Food was delivered at a quick speed. But it needs to be cooked more. We ordered alfaham and chicken biryani.Alfaham was good but chicken biryani was just average .
It was my first visit on this Monday .me and my friend ordered chicken Biryani.perfectly cooked.reasonable price and reasonable quantity. I love that beetroot pickle too..
I first visited Malabar Biryani house nearly 10 years back. A decade later, the quality of the biryani served up by this small outlet remains the same. There are maybe 6 or 7 tables and the place is really tiny. True to its name, the place offers just biryanis, chicken and mutton I can offer comments on and egg and veg which I’ve never bothered eating.
Leave ambience and other fine dine elements off the table when you think of visiting this place. But the biryani is excellent and in keeping with its Malabar roots, the flavours are mild yet lip smacking. The chicken version costs 120 rupees and comes along with raita, pickle, pappad and sulaimani. Unlike several other biryani places in town, Malabar house biryani along with 2 average sized chicken pieces and an egg. The biryani is a bit on the greasy side but good enough to get you back in there for more.
