Rooms have an ethnic look. The location is excellent, right in the heart of things. The service is excellent. The host doubles up as an excellent guide. For those who know him, Yesudas' ancestral home is next to this one.

5 star because this was a monument and the uncle there was very kind to us and for the fact that whenever we exited we would see tourists taking pictures in front of our gate.

Vasco House in Fort Kochi is a must-visit for anyone interested in history and architecture. The house is named after Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer who discovered the sea route to India. This beautifully preserved building is not only one of the oldest Portuguese houses in India, but also served as a filming location for the Malayalam movie Big B. Don't miss the chance to see this stunning piece of history.
