I have dined at this outlet a few times before, but due to the present COVID pandemic, decided to order-in this time. I had ordered Onion Masala Dosa and Mixed Vegetable Uttapam.
The packaging was great. Dosas and Uttapams were neatly packed in cardboard boxes. Chutneys and Sambhar were provided in separate containers. Although I was not too happy with the way dosas had been wrapped, entire content of the dosas was squashed up in the centre. Nevertheless, this is expected when you order-in and not go out. Uttapams were great too.
Cooking instructions were not followed. I had ordered 4 dosas and 2 uttapams but the quantity of sambhar was not sufficient, even though I had specifically asked this in the instructions (There is a reason why apps provide that option).
Is a review for a south indian cuisine even complete if we do not talk about chutneys? The Coconut Chutney was great with perfect consistency. Red chutney was great too, but yeah, coconut chutney was definitely worth the praise.

Sagar Ratna is one of the known names in the restaurant industry is the most popular name in this present world. Nowadays the restaurants are not just a place to come and eat but now it’s becoming a place where people can meet and spend time together to enjoy. Just like another franchise of Sagar Ratna this place has also got some awesome food, it’s a pure vegetarian restaurant great quality and price friendly. There are different variations of South Indian dishes available here. I taste Paper butter masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa which was very tasty. Love their rasam and Idli Chat. The service here is just fine as staff seems to have a happy go lucky attitude towards service. The ambience is simple and clean. Parking facility also available. Overall a nice place to visit with family friends for South Indian dishes especially dosa.
