Delectable Thai food! Tom kha and Tom yum soup were excellent! Dim sums, pad thai and the Jasmine rice with Thai curry was devoured superfast! The desert made of water chestnut jelly and coconut milk was to die for!
Had a lovely experience here. Mums bday was made extra special by the whole team at Thai pavillion right from them decorating our table with balloons to extra jelly n a birthday cake at the end! Mom was glad she had her bday dinner here!
Words would be less to describe what i have experienced here in this restaurant. Every dish i ordered was so authentic that i never felt i am in Hyderabad for a moment, Maan bahadur the master chef here has got magic in his hands. He takes you to the streets of Thailand while you enjoy on the table in this city. Just amazing!!! I am spellbound to be honest. Keep the good work up and just make people happy like i am today.

When a legendary property like Thai Pavillion at Hotel Vivanta by Taj decides to re-vamp their offerings and re-launch themselves, you can vouch for their preparations and post my lunch at their re-launch last week in collaboration with dineout was nothing but short of WOW. dineout off late is curating some brilliant curated experiences off late and this has to be their best but I feel bestest is yet to come.
As you enter into Thai Pavilion, the decor and ambience assures you for an authentic dining experience and the whole rich red chandeliers, asian music and brilliant cutlery everything blings on right tone. When it came to food, each dish was served with utmost authenticity and most of the dishes fared really well. We started with "FARANG MARY" a guava based drink with chilli and salt. Apt for cleansing your palate. We then savored TOM YUM GAI (chicken soup), clean broth, simple flavors, apt herbs and overall a STAR soup. Then followed "YUM MAMUANG" spicy mushroom with mint and roasted crushed rice along with fresh raw mango shavings. Refreshing salad in your palate and tasted WOW alongside with "YASAI ITAME" - grilled veggies & bean sprouts. From starters, we got the "SATAY KAI" (chicken satay mini skewers), Crab dumpling with chilli XO sauce and Wok tossed prawns with hunan sauce. All tasted for apt portion sizes and were delectable. Then we had the stir fried pink salmon in ginger soya sauce. The sauce was brilliant but I felt salmon was a bit overcooked but the the noodles and sauce , the balance was almost perfect. Both the veg and non-veg assorted dim sums platter fared well with most of the non-veg dimsums carrying rich authentic flavors. From the curries, I loved "MALAYSIAN CHICKEN YELLOW CURRY" rich coconut flavored chicken curry, the aroma of the herbs and the coconut milk was evident that this dish ain't fooling you and with the fresh aromatic jasmine rice, it didn't. Wait for the SHOW STOPPER of the lunch - DESSERTS
"TUB TIM GROB" - this Thai dessert that consists of little red rubies (edible of course!) made with water chestnuts and tapioca flour, served with sweetened coconut milk and ice. This one took presentation to another level being served in super chilled coconut shell with its malai inside. The whole combo just worked and flavors was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I mean this could easily be the best of what we had.
Also, the apple tofu and lichi ice cream served perfect partners to wrap up a satisfying meal to the top level satisfaction.
Overall a legit pan-asian food-fare which satisfied by asian cravings with class dishes and simple flavors and nothing overdone or over hyped. This stands testimony for fine dining properties doing their prep to the 5/5 level. Thanks Dineoutindia for the invite and thanks to Thai Pavilion, Vivanta by Taj for a brilliantly curated lunch and top notch hospitality.
