#FoodShaukeen #Sante #HealthyYetDelicious It is very rare that you get a positive vibe as soon as you step into a place. Midst of a busy and noisy broadway, there lies Sante Spa. Designed to relax you within, it does a perfect justification to its name with its ambiance. Minimalistic colors and landscaping the place with plants did the magic. This 120 seater, has both indoor and outdoor seating and take my word for this - both of these areas are amazingly crafted for your need. Vertical landscaping, the sound of a mini waterfall and other plants around makes outdoor seating a blissful experience. Indoor seating is equally peaceful with huge space to walk and colors that gives you a feel of relaxation right from the point you step in! Like few, even I was confused initially with the name of the place which reads Spa Cuisine. While the actual spa gives you a outer relaxation, this comforts you from inside with their healthy yet delicious food and ambience and hence the name. They have a saperate kitchen for Vegeterian and Non Vegetarian and right from serving to eating - all the utensils are different. Vegetarian food is served on cutlery made out of neem wood. You have an option of choosing to drink detox water apart from their regular Tulsi (Basil) water on the table. Every point about this place make it much better, ain't it? Let's find out more about food - Pricing : This place serves from breakfast till dinner and majorly concentrates on vegetarian food. It is only for hyderabad, that they introduced Non-Veg food. Veg dishes start from 200 and go on till 500, average price of majority mains is within 350/- and starters within 250/-. Non veg starts around 240 and goes till 550 with average of 350 to 400 for many. Food: Before I share my experience, here's a brief intro about their food - "They do not use any preservatives, food colors, gelatin, most of the dishes are gluten free and most of their dishes are Jain compatible" A delicious and healthy start was ensured with Moringa Almond Vanilla Smoothie. Moringa powder is the first time that that I have come across and was surprised to find out the health benefits that it has. This smoothie was not just healthy but was delicious too! Chia, another nutrient rich delicacy is also used in this. A bowl of it will ensure your tummy is full for breakfast and will keep you energetic all day along. If you think activated Charcoal is just a hype and doesn't taste good, taste this! Activated Charcoal with soya milk shake was the drink that everyone enjoyed so much that they had second round of it! pineapple spinach spearmint black pepper is for those who want to give a share of detox drink to your body. Both the Soups Roasted garlic tomato broth ( veg) and Tibetian thukpa seafood soup (Non veg) were good but veg tasted much better. Tomato and brocolli scramble mixed with low fat cream and topped on multigrain toast was sooper awesome! I could have had a meal with that scramble - healthy yet delicious . Khakra is one snack that I enjoy eating daily. One - it's baked and two - it's low calorie and healthy. When it's served with spinach and Beetroot hummus - you can't ask for more! Pan seared Zucchini kebab was one of its kind in taste served with brocolli chutney - you are sure not to stop at one. People on diet (including keto) Southern spiced lean chicken breast is the dish for you. A wholesome and tasty dish served with watermelon chutney. Thai spiced fish cakes is an outstanding dish, if I must say out of all the dishes that I have tried. Made with fish and Prawns and splashed with tangy ponzu sauce was a real delight. Mains : Their pizza base main ingredient stands to be ragi. Don't expect a regular cheesy taste out of it and eat it while it's hot. farm fresh pizza (veg and chicken variant) both were overloaded with their respective toppings and was a decent one. Once it gets cold, taste may not allure you much. "Bajra" Riso, one of their signature dishes is termed as a death dish by one of our blogger friend. Why you ask? One dish that can easily go wrong on taste and preperation. But this turned out to be exemplary. With green Moong, spinach and beans this dish though is far from being authentic is very close to a healtilicious one. Their Thai curry with brown rice was another killer and was no less in taste when compared to the who's who of Asian giants. Multi grain mutton khichada, a roasted veg ratatouille with finely chopped mutton minces was good. However, there was no kick of kheema in it. Their desserts prove that you can binge on your favs in a healthy way without any guilt. Lemon and lemgrass baked yogurt chia topped, with sweetness obtained from khandasaari sugar was a guilt free dessert to start with. Coconut and palm jaggery Icecream was a little expensive at 240 with 2 scoops, but it was delicious. Their signature dessert - Salted Caramel Mud Cake made with whole wheat flour and jaggery was dessert lovers delight. A must try in desserts. Their menu is vast and so is their place. Different dishes at different places gives me a feel of new place everytime I visit this . If there is a scope of adding any platters/ combos for the benefit of larger audience, it would be an absolute treat to many. Quality and place demands price and it is totally justified. Do visit and I'm sure you will not turn disappointed.

Healthy food gets a new meaning. While ascending the up-hill of Road No. 92, Jubilee Hills, if you have come across a round bill board displaying a green and white colored logo with Santé written in an eye catchy font and wondering what this sign is all about, well! Santé translates to “health” in French and spa cuisine uses healthy, fresh, organic ingredients to prepare balanced meal that are low on calories, salt and sugar. And if you think Spa Food is boring, tasteless, devoid of flavors and highly priced, then paying yourself a visit to Santé Spa would only clear your misunderstandings. This place advocates natural ingredients that are colorful and seasonally produced shunning the usage of refined products. Covered with lot of vegetation, the ambience is as natural as it could be. When you visit, take your own sweet time to acknowledge the specially designed squared pots that are engraved with health & food related motivational quotes. The upholstery are done in tones of green emanating a calm and serene environment. There is a Buddha statue that is apparently hand-crafted from a solid stone and to the north east corner is a water fountain which was quite relaxing in its sight and sound. The entire place is built in a way that complements and increases the pleasure of the food that you are savoring. It has an alfresco, and a two storied indoor seating. We choose the former as it was a pleasant winter day with the right amount of sunshine. Interestingly, for vegetarians not only the cutlery is different but even the Kitchen is. The veg food is served in the plates that are made up of neem wood. Soup is served in a stone bowl to retain the heat for the longer time. Roasted Tomato and Garlic Broth was intensely flavored and worthy enough to slurp the remains. The attractively colored Beetroot and Spinach Hummus will make you order extra Khakra Chips (Multigrain) as you enjoy the fresh, chunky and so-velvety-smooth chickpea dip. The pan seared Zucchini Kebabs tasted bit bland initially but when smeared with broccoli chutney and salsa, it was altogether a different ball game. Tomato and Broccoli Scramble was one of the scrumptious I ever had. Served with toasted bread, it becomes my dream breakfast. The notable thing in both the dishes was the crunchy lettuce served in the side salad. “Bajra Riso” was innovation at its peak as the contrasting ingredients (Mungo, Cheese, Green Beans, etc.) complemented each other so well, leaving your hunger pangs and taste-buds both satisfied to an extreme level. We couldn’t extract the maximum pleasure from the vibrant Farm Fresh Pizza as we were engrossed in taking multiple pictures. The base, too crispy at the edges and similar texture towards middle was made up of Ragi and other multi grains. Exotic Veggies doused in creamy-spiced coconut broth with the right flavors of Galangal and Lemongrass made for a spectacular Thai curry. It was served with Brown Rice. The Moringa Almond Vanilla Smoothie Bowl, a breakfast meal in itself was thick, dense, delicious and topped with superfoods. The presentation is artistically pleasing that you wouldn’t want to eat them. It’s steeply priced but nutritious, power-packed and sufficient for 2. Activated Charcoal and Coconut Milkshake might not appeal to your eyes but when you taste, you won’t shy away to ask for another helping, provided you love the coconuty flavor. It not only boost your energy or brighten you skin but cures hangovers too. Now let’s talk about their Desserts which was an absolute guilt free indulgence of all sorts. Baked yoghurt with Lemon and Lemongrass was a bomb of flavors. It took me few seconds to understand the esoteric taste before they left a distinct lingering trail on my tongue. The unconventional ingredients such as jaggery caramel and pink Himalayan salt harmonized together with the wheat-flour making the Mud Cake as the ultimate pleasurable dessert. Their home-made coconut ice cream drizzled with palm jaggery, rich in protein and iron, would put one in a sweet ecstasy. This is one of the peaceful Tastings whose vivid image shall remain in my memory for more than a while. Whether you want to push yourself in solitude, or enjoy a wholesome meal with your family and friends, Santé Spa Cuisine should be experienced at least once. The vegetarian food might appear upscale but the pristine and organic ingredients that they source does much justice to its pricing.
