Nice serene skybar at the heart of Gandipet's developing location where many residential apartments are situated. Food & drinks were extremly tasty but the potion of happy hours meals were small , which is why me and my friends had to order from the main menu. Staff was courteous and friendly and willing to serve. Only thing this place needs to market itself more as very less customers were visiting the place during peak happy hours period...Go visit this place !!
The city of Hyderabad has now expanded like anything and is offering a whole new range of cafes and bistros all round the corner. Atom pub and kitchen has opened up with a decently spaced property located in Gandipet. Right from its classy interiors to a stunning bar, you will be blown away with the ambience of the place.
Speaking about their food, we were up for a surprise with their Eat your mocktails, a concept in which fresh fruit juice is served into the fruit and one can consumer the fruit post drinking the juice. The two variants were Guava and Green Apple. Wonderfully done. Next up, the roasted tomato basil had a great presentation served alongside a slice of toasted baguette. Although the consistency of the soup was commendable, I would have adored a somewhat more sharp, sour taste to the soup.
For appetizers, I was up for a treat with their Grilled fish skewers and Thikha Tangdi kebab. The fish was perfectly cooked. It was meaty and delicious. Besides, the Thikha tangdi kebab was the starter of the noon. Brilliant marination, soft and tender meat and no nonsense. Highly recommended.
Following up, the Kebab Kobideh and Hariyali jhinga were additionally very much endeavored. The kobideh was done nicely with roasted veggies whereas the prawns were also good.
For mains, I began with their Fried chicken burger. This was an epic meal in itself. The bun was prepared in house which was super soft and really fresh. The chicken breast patty was seriously good. Topped with tomatoes, cucumber and in house sauce, this one was a certain winner for me. Over to the pizza section, I gave a shot to their Chicken tikka pizza. The pizza was quite delicious with a nice, generous portion of chicken chunks over the base.
Kache Aqne ki dum Gosht Biryani and Dum murgh biryani were genuinely exceptional. In the course of recent years, I had never attempted such superb biryani in any bar or a bistro. The flavours of the meat were top notch, the rice was fluffy, the spices were very well balanced and the overall outcome of the dish was really pleasant. Needless to say, it was a perfect ending to my main course meal.
It would be a complete injustice if I won’t mention their dessert section that offered a wide range of sweet dishes. My personal pick had to be their Panna cotta which was served with a lovely berry compote. Fabulous stuff. The Atoms chocolate was a nice attempt to serve chocolate brownie and ice cream shelled in a chocolate dome.
Overall, I was highly impressed with the eatery and can surely say that one can have a great time with their pals at this place. Happy eating.
Despite the pandemic, the cravings of Hyderabad never ceases to take the opportunity in F & B Sector. Gone are the days that people travel long to Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to have exciting, music enthralled pub and pubs and unwind yourself with friends or family. Each area/sector envisions to be a launching pad for new brands to open with the area vicinity which is a welcome change for locals and avoid travel traffic-heavy travel(s) anymore. Atom Pub & Kitchen capitalizes on this concept to open a stylish, fully planned pub/bar set up and tries to make its presence with some interesting food menu and a plethora of bar options to chose from. Coming up with a simple and dark tone to match the theme and representing the logo everywhere, Atom sports up a simple yet effective decor and ambiance for a typical bar expectation. Good low sofa seatings, a smoking section, regular diner tables, and even some high rises for those young crowd to tap on their feet for some rhythms.
As we ventured into the food, we started with some interesting EAT YOUR MOCKTAILS - guava and green apple versions served fresh inside the fruits that you eat ém up. We started with Roasted Tomato basil soup served classic style with toastie baguette on the side. While it could have more punch to its flavors, it gave a refreshing start. From the appetizers, Grilled Fish skewers were served with fresh salads to accompany. While flavors were delivered, it was low on portion size and the price tag felt less. But step aside, as we tasted Thika tangdi - a must-try here. Perfectly marinated chicken legs in apt spice levels and near-perfect marination, this is every desi's lover for tandoor - A MUST TRY. Kebab kobideh satiated our Mediterranean take and was done well. Hariyali Jhinga was the last in the segment where I felt while again flavors delivered, for the price tag, quantity can be looked upon.
As we got through refreshing drinks coming up from the bar, in came the humble and simple Fried chicken burger. A simple but yet 100% well-done super soft burger bun with the crispy fried chicken breast at the right amount of thickness, packed with tomato and cucumber served with fries as a classic take. This one was a clear winner, everybody in our gang simply loved its clean and classic flavors. Special mention on the bun softness which seems to be due to sourcing of quality flour for the bun itself. With their own wood-fire pizza oven, in came freshly made
Chicken tikka pizza was apt, nicely done, and thin enough to allow us to enjoy it. While our dishes ventured on international cuisines, the desi servings came to the table. Kache Aqne ki dum gosht biryani & Kache aqne ki dum murgh biryani were served and I should say that for a bar kitchen, both the dishes mighty impressed me in the softness of the rice, perfect cook on the meat, ample portion size and the perfect harmony of flavors - spices - meat & rice ratio and what not. Try both of them and you will be surprised as much as I do. Definitely, don't miss the mutton variant.
While our appetite was full with these dishes, our palates always look for desserts to have that perfect ending always. We tried their Panna cotta which I should say with apt gelatin usage and beautifully done berry compote, this may one of the best I have had in the town. Must try here. The other offering - Atoms chocolate - was a theatrical act of covering up brownie with ice cream shelled under a chocolate doom and scores on the presentation part while the brownie itself could have been done better because I have better ones. They can improvise on the fudginess of the brownie in specifics.
Be it the polite always available service, to some good drink bar setup, nice variety in menu choices, Atom Pub & kitchen is a clean, apt place for family and friends to sit back, enjoy and relax and have a quality time with good finger food choices and a couple of drinks.
