The name, The Rajwada Library Bar sounds like royalty; and the venue does live up to its name. Packed inside the grand RajVilas, this Library Bar has pitch perfect ambiance. With chandeliers and books in glass cupboards, the atmosphere is relaxed and primed for a lazy day with a good book, delicious food and uncanny drinks that get your creative juices flowing. The Menu is just a pointer; when at RajVilas and at any of it's restaurants, you could munch on literally anything you want. You're the king, and your whims will be entertained to the fullest. The finger food is amazing, and so are the sandwiches. The dips to accompany will make everything else you've had before finish a distant second. Mocktails, cocktails, the finest Single Malts - the engine room makes sure you get high on Sandalwood water. The hospitality is endearing, and you sometimes can't help but spend a lot more time at the Bar than you had originally planned to. To be honest, who doesn't love being pampered out of one's wits.
We really enjoyed the nice quaint setting of the bar in the library. It has great furniture and a very different feel to it. We could have spent a lot more time. Hemraj was very open to ideas (biased because the experiments worked). Surprisingly he guessed my favorite drink and how I would like it. Overall, very pleased.
