I had visited this place in April 17 and had paneer tikka which was very good its a nice Shop in Jaipur for Vegetarians
Happy with Good Quality, Variety& Staff
Value for Money.
I visited the outlet near sector 19A on Madhya Marg as a tourist..the sweets and packed namkeen section offered the same range as any other branded sweet shop in any city of our country. Their eggless chocolate cake was good but overpriced. Packed gazak and rewri were as good as anywhere else.
Judging purely by taste, Dadu Dayal should be a five star sweet shop. If you happen to judge Boondi ka laddus (the bigger or the smaller bundis) by their authenticity of desi ghee and it's generous usage - I think Dadu Dayal should get all the marks.
Their rasmalai is heavenly. The ras being a little on the thicker side, but it's yum. I always get a little extra helping of pista topping on request. (So you could possibly do it too)
Their malpuas are great. But not as good as you get in those little lanes in Pushkar maybe.
You should run for those kala jamums (DO NOT confuse this for the usual gulaab jamuns) that they have for a day or so during Diwali.
They have about 3 types of Gondh ke laddu and I suggest you try at least 2 of them. Leave the methi flavour out and the rest are very well stuffed with nuts, Gondh and pieces of punchy whole peppers!
To make the whole note short - most of their sweets are often fresh and worth a try.
They might not be the best in service - they are kind of grumpy at times. But just choose the sweets by their shine and hog on, guys!
