Locals eat their scrumptious meals here. They had lunch that had rice, chapati, 2 avails, chicken & mutton curry, meen fry (fish) the Amma and other severs there were kind and sweet. There not only locals but people visiting from Singapore, Malaysia and Japan & European countries that joined us for lunch too! The meal was very tasty, especially the fish!
A small nondescript restaurant with simple, tasty dishes. Only 16 people can be accommodated at a time and it will be a bit crowded during lunchtime.
Clean place. Vegetarian lunch is just 70 rupees. Mutton curry is ₹100 and chicken curry ₹70.
Food is served on plantain leaves. You have to take the leaves after eating and put it in the waste bin( for the information of non South Indian readers who are not used to this)
The environment looked typically like olden days setup and reminded me of my childhood time. We went for breakfast takeaway there and the food was good too. Idlies were soft and small too so take high numbers if you are planning to buy idlies. Pongal and Poori was good too. Try checking the chutneys they provide we got less packets which was not sufficient you could ask more if needed.
