First the staff and the Chef at Travancore Restaurant inside Trident Kochi are extremely helpful and sweet people.
Ambience is relaxing!
Wall decors, lighting, and space are all great!
Tables and seatings are arranged very well, good distance between tables, one can move freely. Both buffet and al-carte menu are served inside the same floor.
Food was good, nothing to complain about.
In the buffet breakfast starting with fresh fruits, juices, idly, vadas, sausages(not the best though), potato preparations, roti, Chanda battura, poori, egg options and dosa options in the live counter are the real highlights.
Chef Rijo, Chef Deepak, Chef Miland, Floor Executive Sidharth, many and all other staffers at Travancore Restaurant are super courteous.
More than food, one will appreciate their service and kindness.
Chef Deepak offered his speciality Egg Aapam, and Chef Rijo recommend Aapam and Chicken Stew - for breakfast these were the best.
Both of them also extended two different set of chicken and fish starters for dinner, which included Fish Tikka, Chicken Ulurth, then a Chicken Tikka, and Fish Polichatu were yummm.
