Going to this place since 2007. Everyone is very courteous and the cuisine is fantastic. The pricing is moderate judging by the location. I like the place.
I was part of a group of 15 and we had plans of dining at any joint in and around Park Street. It was nearly impossible to get a booking with less than 30 minutes waiting, let alone for a group of 15.
As we ventured along Mirza Ghalib Street, away from the hustle and bustle of Park Street,we came across Gupta's. We immediately managed to get a place for ourselves and with us,the all the tables got occupied more or less.
They do have a bar. Beer, cold drinks and Fresh Lime Sodas were ordered to begin with.
For starters we had ordered Chicken Reshmi Kebab and Fish Finger.
The Reshmi Kebab was good and came with picked onions and pudina chutney.
The Fish Finger was the best. Ample amount of fresh bhetki wrapped around in a thin crust layer. And the dip that came along with it was great as well.
For main course we went for Indian: Tandoori Rotis,Butter Naan,Dal Makhani and Chicken Bharta.
The Butter Naan was a bit thick and doughy.
The Dal Makhani and Chicken Bharta were good.
Finger bowls were given after the meal.
The bill came to about 6K(price of drinks included),which is quite pocket friendly.
Service was good as well.
