As you know this is a very old cabin style restaurant but all the cabins are removed now. It becomes very crowded during weekends so you have to share tables with others and don't expect 100% hygiene.
Choose your food properly before ordering because after the food order it's very tough to change it cause the service is really very fast.
I have tried Egg chicken chowmein, chilli chicken, fish fry and fish kabiraji. The taste of egg chicken chowmein and fish fry was nice. Chilli chicken was a bit extra sweet and fish kabiraji was really very good. The fish used was really fresh.
Overall the experience was decent.
PS: The chilli chicken contains 4pc of chicken (not 6 or 8pc) so order accordingly.

Dilkhusha is no doubt very simple and sober restaurant at MG road infront of Adi Mohini however in the simplicity the food is very tasty.
We ordered different items like chicken kosha, noodles, Fried rice, roti, fish kobiraji etc and all food was mouth watering.
Very decent/reasonable prices.
Huge number of people were there to eat, some of them were waiting for the people to finish their food so they can sit.
Good to eat.
In these old cabin style restaurants, you can often find classic Bengali dishes and other traditional delicacies. The dishes is often served with slices of onion and Kasundi, enhancing the overall taste. The contrast of the crispy coating with the succulent fish makes it a delightful experience for fish fry lovers. The Vetki fry is a classic Bengali delicacy that you shouldn't miss if you're in Kolkata.
