Dash Restrobar located at Salt Lake City Centre is known for their customized food. Order according to your preference and get it served at your table. The restaurant can accomodate 20 people at a time . The place has a charming ambience , felt like entering a restaurant on a Christmas Eve. Soothing music being played at the background , decorated walls with soft toys , painting and comfy sitting arrangements sum up the get up of this place.
Service was quick yet not the most acurate . Food served was hot and was on time .
Started off with a few mocktails of which virgin mojito was refreshing and sweet. The pineapple blossom had great balance of sweetness that can attract every palate .
Moving on to the starters , the chicken malai kebabs were the stand out. Good pieces of boneless chicken marinated with curd or cream and other secondary elements, grilled to perfection over the tandoor. It was served with a green chutney ,tasted delicious .
Next comes the fried chicken which could have been a little smaller in size , nevertheless big boneless cuts of chicken coated with a crumb and deep fried , it was crunchy and had decent flavours .
For the mains i mainly focused on nasi goreng with Singapore chicken. Both of them were good , the chicken being even better than the other. Nasi goreng is basically mixed fried rice from Indonesia . The difference in the looks than a regular fried rice lies only on the fried egg on top which is present in every nasi goreng prep. The rice had lots of chicken chunks, prawns , corns and other veggies. Quantity was good compared to the price . The Singapore chicken was a shredded chicken preparation made with lots of dry red chillies. Although it wasn't as spicy as it looked but was perfectly cooked and hence tasty.
Overall a good experience for me.
An wonderful place for a dine out. We have visited here a couple of days before. We had an awesome experience out here. We ordered chicken malai kebab as starter. We had a mocktail as well which was named apple julip. The main courses consisted of Nasi Goreng rice and singapore chicken. All the items were so tasty and had a great experience out here. Loved the ambience and would visit again.
