At Kunwarbai's Kitchen, it's not just about the food—it's a whole vibe. Picture this: vintage floor tiles from the 1860s adding character to the place. Ashok (owner) has a backyard filled with cool vintage cars, including one that used to belong to the Sultan of Oman. So, you're basically eating authentic homemade Gujarati food surrounded by legit pieces of history. Trust me, it's a vibe you don't want to miss! 🚗🍲
Just can't get enough!!! My mouth is still watering, thinking about their Shrikhand while writing this review. The place is perfect for those who want to dine in peace away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy crowd. I wasn't able to eat enough, but whatever I had was so yummy 🤤
A must try in Lonavala for vegetarian meals. Part of a beautiful old villa turned into a restaurant serving homely vegetarian Gujarati thali(₹350 per thali, unlimited), buffet style. The food is simple, fresh, delicious and served hot. The dishes are very mildly spiced, non greasy and suitable for all ages. Aamras, gulab jamun and chaas along with the food was heavenly. The open kitchen was super clean and the staff very friendly. The hosts were very kind and warm, explained the history of the place. The decor is simple and has vibes of warm and happy home. One can click Instagram worthy pics. Suitable for family, groups and solo travellers
