Loving it since college days. Location is a little towards inner side but nothing too hard to find if you know Ganj well. Earlier they had staff with better communication skills, in both language Hindi and English now it seems the staff is simply does not better. Please work on that side. Taste wise it has still maintained its earlier repute.
Date: 5th November, 2017 [Sunday]
Time: 2100
Ambience: A small, cozy café situated behind Tej Kumar Plaza.
Service: Only 1 waiter who was quite amicable and the service was quick.
Food:
1) Chicken Delight Tortilla:
Excellent.
The dish reflected it's Mexican roots with the ingredients and how the whole dish came together. The best thing about it was the sauce!
You should definitely give it a try!
2) Lasagne Rolls:
The dish is served in a plate with 4 eatables, Lasagne Rolls, Fried Mushrooms, Garlic Bread and Cabbage and Tomato Salad.
The chef did wonders with his lasagne rolls which had a stuffing of Basil Tomato Sauce, which despite being a little too oily were juicy and too tasty!
All in all, when you have the 4 eatables together [Special mention to the Fried Mushrooms], the whole dish comes out very well!
3) Falafel with Hummus, Salad and Pita Bread:
The only problem with the dish was the quantity of hummus they served.
Elsewise, it was just like the Hummus and Falafel any other restaurant would serve.
Verdict:
I would love to come to this place again!
A cafe by one of the most celebrated chefs of India, Pankaj Bhadoriya, the name and the surrounding are catchy enough. We had some time to kill so went there. Ordered cold coffee with icecream and lasagna rolls. Cold coffee turned out to be awesome. And I don't call anything edible as bad but lasagna roll disappointed us. 3.5 stars for cold coffee and the interiors.
