The ambience is excellent, and the unique concept of selecting live sea animals from a pond for your meal is intriguing. However, the food taste was decent. There's room for improvement in service; often, when we requested one thing, they brought something else.
Alai Osai turned out to be a pleasant surprise during an unplanned visit. Without prior reviews or menu perusal, it proved to be a decent restaurant. The live seafood options were noteworthy, although the cooking style for lobsters left room for improvement—opting for grill or continental style might enhance the experience. The night ambience, complemented by a small pond in the middle, provided a comfortable dining atmosphere. While the food taste was decent without reaching extraordinary heights, the overall value made it a worthwhile choice for an impromptu dinner.
The ambience was very good. They allowed kids to try a hand on fishing in the pond inside the restaurant. That was great fun.
Food was nice. Sea foods were very good, whereas, chicken and mutton was not up to the expectations.
So to sun it up, great place for sea foods and unequivocal a good family restaurant.
