I had my lunch over here . It was pretty empty when I went in . I was bit skeptical about the food . But honestly the quality of food is really good . I had a talk with the owner he said that all the items are prepared by him and his wife and quantity is reserved . I had a wonderful lunch and I ordered veg thali along with fish. The quantity given was good ,I got no complaints . One thing is that price is bit on higher end . I asked for dry fish chutney twice for which I was refused . 😑Btw recommend , go for it .

Centrally located next to a busy market area in front of Majuli Police Station. Easy to find. Cool ambiance. Both veg and non-veg options available. Traditional Assamese cuisines served here bear the taste, flavour and aroma of Assam. Duck curry is excellent. Chutney of bamboo shoot (Khorisa) and chicken cooked with bamboo shoot deserves special mention.

Great place to have assamese thali and other home cooked delicious meals in Majuli island. Exactly opposite the police station of Majuli, and food was authentic and full of natural flavours. Do visit!
