Panache has an amazing ambience. If you are in Ashwem, it is a good place to chill at night.
Chose this place seeing the fantastic location on a street filled with good options for shopping. The music was very inviting and the Christmas decor looked super inviting with the staff wearing Santa caps and greeting guests with Christmas cheer. That was super welcoming for a tourist visiting. The projector kept kids hooked with the Tom and Jerry cartoons and made the feel of the restaurant very family friendly yet intimate enough for quiet conversations or time alone savouring a meal.
We were a group of four from Delhi, Kolkata and Jharkhand so our taste buds were eclectic with diverging food tastes. But we are unanimous in our appreciation of the Malai chicken which was creamy, tender and beautifully spiced. The prawn cocktail was fresh and very light on the mouth with the perfect crunch from the lettuce. A totally new dish was Oriental style mixed Seafood which was a beautiful blend of spices on calamari, prawns, king fish chunks. Their thyme chicken breast was well done on a bed of mashed potatoes with lemon butter rice. Another very mention worthy dish was their chicken noodles that had juicy slices of vegetables and perfect amounts of egg and chicken in each fork full.
A place I will surely drop by again when I am in Goa. Highly recommended to visit as it has a huge menu offering Goan, Indian, Continental and Chinese dishes.
We were a group of 6 foodie- travellers visiting Goa before the Christmas week and happened to chance upon this awesome place 'Panache' while coming back from Ashwem beach. And boy what a place this turned out to be!!
A lovely ambience, all decked up with music and a big screen, the food was delectable be it sea food or the Indian tandoori cuisine. We literally tried out all the sea food - prawns, calamari, Red Shnappers, King fish and of course the ubiquitous chicken tikkas. The calamari and Prawns in butter garlic were to die for as were the king fish rava fried or the prawns cooked in goan gravy!! The North indian palate was more than satiated with the butter chicken and the malai tikkas along with the delectably crisp cheesy garlic naans! All this soaked up with some amazing cocktails stirred by their enthusiastic Bar tender.
The best part was their chef Veeru who would come down before each order to check on our preferences and taste!
All in all a great place to hang out with some authentic sea food and drinks ina highly instagram-able setting - oh yeah u get super fast wifi too....!
Highly recommended folks...surely we are coming back! Thanks Panache team!!
