If you are a fish lover, then visit this new restaurant in Koramangala – Meenu Oota da Maane – a tiny place located next to JNC road (opposite to Hyderabadi Biryani House/Meghana Foods). Pictures are from my last two visits and I literally multitasked by taking pics at the same time indulging in some serious seafood affair. They serve Mangalorean food and from fish Tawa/Rava fry to thali(s), from kori Rotti to pundi, from Appam to Neer dosa- sukka dishes; they serve everything you are craving for, from the coastal side. I tried the following –
Seer fish/ Anjal Tawa fry 😍😍😍
Prawns ghee roast 😍😍😍
Pomfret Tawa fry 😍😍😍
Chicken Sukka 😍😍😍
Neer Dosa
Appam
Chicken ghee roast Biryani
Ginger Lime Soda
Kokum Juice
Upon request, they made the food bit spicy and I really enjoyed it. Tawa fry and Prawns ghee roast were bang on. I loved the freshness and flavors of seafood. Chicken Ghee roast Biryani was too tasty but it was just a mix of Ghee rice + Chicken Ghee Roast. Don’t keep too much of expectation when you order this. Same with Kokum juice, if you love raw kokum flavor, then go for it. I would prefer more settled taste (like Sol Kadi drink). Chicken Sukka and Neer dosa is a match made in heaven and I can keep on having this anytime, any day. Though they have Chinese and other cuisines on their menu, I hardly checked it as I ordered from the ‘menu of the day’ written on the board. Last Sunday when we visited this place for dinner, almost all the stuffs (Prawns, Crab, Kane etc) got over due to weekend rush.
