It was my second day of goa and we went for dinner. We ordered starters n onion uttapa. The taste of the food was not bad and service was good. It's good for vegetarian. Visit once in this hotel.!
This place was suggested to us by the locals as we were looking for a place where we would get a good fish thali.
This place is located in the small lanes of Mapusa near the Mapusa bus stand. It is located in one of the buildings in these lanes and maybe hard to spot while just passing by. Finding parking will be a problem here.
I paid this place a visit along with my cousins to try the fish thali for lunch. This place has a decent ambiance. It's a proper family restaurant.
When we paid it a visit at 1pm , we were the first customers and the AC wasn't switched on and it was really hot inside. But they did switch on later. Btw this place has two floors seating where one is Non AC and second is AC.
The management here is polite and staff here is good in service of food.
Coming to food : we ordered : 1) There Fish thalis (normal)(Chonak fish).
2) Prawns Rawa Fry dish.
The thalis here are served in two categories 1) Normal Fish thali. 2) Special Fish thali. The only difference is that we get to choose the main fish element in special fish thali(based on availability) and the price of special thali depends on "As per piece" concept.
1) Fish thali(normal)(Chonak fish) : The fish thali was served with Rice, prawns curry, kokam rus(juice), Cluster beans sabji, Clams fish element, Coconut fish element, salad and of course the Boneless Chonak Fish Rawa Fry(1 piece). I honestly really didn't like the Cluster beans sabji being there on the fish thali. It takes the fun out. The rice was basmati and it was perfectly cooked. The prawns curry and kokam juice were delicious and went well with rice and fish elements. The salad being there on the thali was actually pointless. It was not seasoned and was just bland. The clams element and coconut fish element was really good in taste!! Atlast coming to the Boneless Chonak Fish Rawa Fry. The fried fish was perfect both in quality and taste. Loved it❤❤! But but but the portion was a little small than expected.
2) Prawns Rawa Fry dish : In this dish came 10 Huge tiger prawns. The prawns were perfectly fried and seasoned. The taste was beautiful❤❤!! Loved it.
Overall it's a good place to go with family or friends or cousins and have some really nice and decent food!!! :)

Location & Ambience: The address listed here is pretty accurate; if I had to direct you the way then look out of SBI bank and ATM on the left side of the bus depot and then take the road next to SBI, at the very end take left and you should spot Anna Purna. There have spread their dining place in two floors with one floor AC and another non-AC.
Taste & Variety: We dropped at this place twice, for our lunch and dinner. During our lunch visit we ordered Special Fish Thali, the difference between the regular and special fish thali is the fish variety. The regular fish thali which is priced at Rs.100 INR has Mackerel fish fry and for the special one you can choose the fish based on the availability of the fish. I opted for Kingfish and the fish thali had Rice, Salad, Fish curry, Peas sabji, fish dish, clams dish, King Fish fry and Kokum juice. I loved the clams curry, fish dish and peas sabji - all the three dishes tasted great. The fish curry was good as well as the salad was refreshing. But I wasn’t fond of the fry, the kingfish was cooked well but it could have helped some seasoning; it was bland for my liking though the outer cover of the semolina coated fish was crispy. It was an average thali in terms of taste and wasn’t worth the price spent. As we weren’t hungry we opted for a few drinks and extra bowl of rice and fish curry alone.
And during our dinner visit to the same place, we ordered for Kaju Korma and butter roti. Oh man! That kaju korma is one of the must try dish if you are at Goa - they are very generous about the cashew and the gravy was fingerlickingly delicious. The richness from the buttery gravy that was loaded with cashews, tutti frutti and kismis were perfect in taste and consistency. Also the gravy was packed with intense flavours - it was a medley of spiciness and sweetness. I can go on and on about the Kaju Korma and I won’t shut - I am still craving for the KAJU KORMA
