A decent restaurant to try some authentic South Indian food 🥘 at a reasonable price.
Firstly, we had to wait for our turn so we waited in the queue for 15-20 minutes. Their service is lil slow as they took sometime to prepare the dosas but the taste was not compromised.
The dosas were crisp and the sambhar tasted good. Not too spicy and the appropriate amount of sourness.
It was on my bucket list to cover all the famous South Indian joints in Matunga, and it one is well covered. A must try for the crispy dosas and filter coffee ☕️
Dosa is good, rest is okay . After visiting all these south Indian restaurants in and around Matunga, I’d say go to Aryabhavan for Ghee podi idli, Cafe Madras for Tuppa Dosa, Udipi for Masala dosa, chutneys of Aryabhavan are thicker and better, sambhar is best at Cafe Madras, Tomato soup is a refreshing addition at Udipi, Chicori coffee at aryabhavan but one thing to note is Aryabhavan’s service is bad and staff can be arrogant at times. All said and done, I’ll be a regular at all 3 till the time I am living in Mumbai.
It is situated at the Matunga circle. Very close to the Madras cafe. This place is small but at a time group of 20 can accommodate. I heard a lot about this place so finally we decided to try it. All the dosas were good. we tried Maysoor onion Rava masala and masala dosa. It is a little expensive but the taste is worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They do not accept the Cards. (Keep in mind, I had a little difficulty here)
