Right from the time you make a reservation when you are greeted by courteous staff to being offered refreshing beverages while you wait to be seated.
The place is done up in a mix of Goan architecture which keeps you busy as you find interesting nooks and crannies to observe.
The Food and service were both excellent. The ambiance was homely . Live Music, specially the portuguese / Konkani favorites makes one nostalgic & enhances the "Goa Experience". A delectable haven for seafood lovers. They don’t charge any tax on drinks.
We particularly tried the Goan menu and found the preparations especially the fish exquisite. Must Try Dishes: Caldo Verde Soup, Prawns Rissios, Stuffed Crab, Tender Coconut Bhaji and Prawns curry, in dessert Caramel custard and bibinca.
Dr. Suhas Awchat is a gracious host and pays personal attention to each guest.
I'm definitely visiting this place again and this time with a bigger group.

Go to this restaurant not just for the food ( which is already legendary and rightly so ) but for the the whole experience.

The place is done up in a mix of Goan and Malabar architecture which keeps you busy as you find interesting nooks and crannies to observe. This helps as the waiting to be served may be a tad long because of the unending crowds.
Food is delicious, fresh and with generous portions.
We particularly tried the Goan menu and found the preparations especially the fish exquisite. The Santra Kulfi was a revelation !

I get mad when am asked if I wish to hv bottled water in any restaurant. My view is that hotels shld earn through their food n not water.
At GPR, I was asked if I wish to hv regular water ... It was a different question and I could say a straight YES.
The staff r very receptive. The food is super awesome.
U can come here with ur fly, with friends .. n enjoy Goan / South Indian / Maharashtrian food Veg / Non Veg... and there's thali too ..
