Lotus Court (or LC to the locals) is yet another institution. It's one of our favorite watering holes. Mind you the prices aren't cheap, it's actually quite steep for this kind of place. But hey, we still love it! It's fantastically clean (we've been in the kitchen) and the food is great! Service is pretty quick as well. And of course, if you're visiting just for the food, then you must try the epic Fatima Biryani (lord knows who Fatima is but we love her creation) and the dal tadka. Heck, order them both and have it as a weird combination that actually works! Even try the prawns koliwada and the prawns conjim style (the latter is one of my favorites here). Try the khicha papad too!
We love this place and go there several times a month!
Cheers indeed!
Recommended by a friend for thirsty travellers looking for a moderately priced watering hole, was surprised to say the least that Lotus Court well lit, nicely done up place with very good service. The tables are well separated from each other affording privacy and comfort. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Ordered for rawa fried bombil and prawns gassi. The bombil was crispy and not oily at all and the prawns yummy with small slivers of coconut and perfectly seasoned with tadka. The food quantity was adequate though greed demanded a bit more !!!!

I am so glad that my sister and jiju introduced me to this place.
It is located in the industrial premises of Laxmi Industrial Estate in Andheri West.
We ordered so many things.
Amongst starters we ordered:
Crispy Corn - The corn kernels were deep fried and a different kind of sukha masala was mixed so that it could give a nice tangy taste.
Chane - This chana masala kind of a starter had onions and tomatoes added in it along with masalas.
Chicken Red - This was an Indo Chinese starter which was completely red in color, the chicken was tender and juicy. Super super yummy!
Mushroom Tandoor - Mushrooms were tandoored well and cooked in a spicy masala. This was again a hit dish from their menu.
Amongst Breads we ordered Butter Naan, Butter Garlic Naan, Butter Rotis and Tandoor Rotis.
Sabjis were also cooked well with that perfect Indian Taste.
Chicken Kheema - Kheema was done well and was a bit spicy but the consistency was just perfect.
Veg Kolhapuri - Since kolhapuri sabjis are a bit spicy, this too had to be but on our request, they made it medium spicy.
Overall this place is a hit and recommended for all Indian food lovers. They serve drinks as well.. so you can get to choose a wide variety of starters along with the drinks.
