Best dosa in town is here!
Vile Parle West Khau gali needs no introduction. People flock here in the evenings to relish their favourite snacks. Dosas, sandwiches, dabeli, juices, chaats, paan, kulfi, you name it and it’s here!
If haven’t been to the Vile Parle West Khau gali already, it’s very simple to get here. It’s a stone throw away from the Vile Parle station, under the skywalk. There a food stalls along the way. Watch the videos with this review and you will know the exact location.
Trust me you can smell the delicious food from a distance. By the way, the station road also happens to be a major shopping destination for cheap fashion clothing and accessories.
Sai Samarth Dosa Center is one of the oldest and popular dosa place in Vile Parle. They serve a range of dosa, from sada dosa to machurian, to Mysore masala to paneer dosas. I recommend you should have the Jini dosa. It a great combination of masala and veggies filled dosa.
Do not anything fancy! You have to stand on the road and have your dosa. Of course it’s all hygienic and clean, but it’s a roadside stall. The service is quick and the staff swift.
Wide variety of dosas including innovative (not any more) ones like jini Dosa and chopsouy Dosa. Their chutney are amazing.
The place has been around for years and serving options throughout the day. However of late the hygiene around their cart is very bad with spilled water and food. Also during rush hours, it tends to get really crowded and the wait can be quite long.
The birthplace of Jini Dosa. This is where it all started and everyone copied but pappa pappa hota hai. Have it with little less cheese, it'll taste much better. Am a professional dosa eater. Also Chutney Powder dosa is excellent. I prefer to have it more spicy so that the dessert can taste even better after that :) Chopsuey dosa is also really good. I generally loosen my belt after visiting this place.
