Balaji pure veg has been a popular spot for many and since now it is located at a new location we dropped in to try. New location is convenient, just inside Golden chariot hotel on highway.
Ambience is quite upscale like a fine dine. Menu has a variety of cuisine but pure veg only. We always have south indian cuisine so this time we tried asian cuisine mostly.
We started with Paneer Kungpao, that came sizzling with nice sauce laden Paneer cubes, fried cashews and peppers.
Loved each bite, quite well made recipe.
Next up we had their signature Paneer tikka which is so fragrant and soft and flavorful. Each bite is delicious and bursts flavours.
For mains we called for Triple Schezwan Fried rice which is a standard recipe everywhere just the sauce makes a difference. Here it felt a little bland but nevertheless sauce accompanying was perfect so it went well.
For desserts we called for Jalebi and Rabdi wow this is ultra delicious option in menu. Rabdi is thick and chilled while the jalebis are crisp. We called two portions post that.
Service is quite quick and Manoj who attended us was helpful. Pricing wise the quantity is huge so we were done with just these three dishes.
Good for when you want to take a little far ride for a family meals or when someone driving and want to dine at a clean restaurant.
